Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Firstly anyone thinking of buying these make sure you are getting the best price I paid £22.99 on 20th June, they've since gone up in price twice, firstly to £26.99 and now currently £30.99 (on 1st July).I've had these plugged in since 22nd June, instructions advise to give them 4 weeks in total before seeing improvement, I have them plugged in, in the Kitchen, Living Room, Porch & top of the stairs. I have them on the highest setting to try and get the best out of them, they do produce a noticable noise on this setting but when the TV or radio is on we can't hear them (not overly noisy but the sounds to me are similar to a fax machine or that buzzing noise you get when you open the fridge, seems to have a few different noises as it completes a cycle) on the lower setting there is no noise from the units. I bought these after experiencing 7 quite big spiders in the home within 2 weeks (2 of them within 24hrs) my absolute worst nightmare. We didn't seem to have any from 22nd June to 28th June, but on 29th & 30th we had a spider each night in the Kitchen, there's a chance they may of already been in the home when we bought and plugged these in, so I want to give them the full 4 weeks to truly see if they work as per the instructions. I do like how compact and lightweight these are and you barely notice them dotted around the house, they do give off a blue light when plugged in so we have kept them out of bedrooms. Will update the review in a couple of weeks to see if anymore have appeared in the home, I would have hoped by 4 weeks that any that may have been in the house would have appeared in the first 2 weeks so hopefully we won't see any by week 3 & 4. Rated 3 stars for now as we have had a couple of spiders since plugging in if we see improvements I will amend the rating accordingly. I've added a video of the noise on the highest setting when there was no other background noise (ie. a tv on).

Let me start by saying I never right reviews.Do not buy this!There is a huge moth and spider infestation in my house. I tried this but it did not work. I turned it on and waited 3 weeks, 4 weeks 5 weeks and still infested. Then wasps were introduced into the equation. Maybe it's a coincidence. But it's strange. I'm out of time to return this as I was trying to give it a chance. But if it doesnt even work on wasps after 5 1/2 weeks, it's a rip off. I would like my money back please.

Uv lamps are perfect for attracting any bugs that are scattered inside, and it's a beautiful, clean product that doesn't cause any confusion.Uv rays are very bright, so I don't recommend placing them where you might accidentally see them, or letting your child have a look at them.I placed it in the socket at eye level and finally decided to move it.

This product does not work at all for spiders. I wish I hadn’t bought it as it is an expensive con. We have one plugged in every room but still have had plenty of large spiders in the house this month. I think I will contact Amazon to try to get a refund.

These do nothing to deter insects, have had them plugged in 4 weeks, quite noisy on high setting, but the spiders do not seem bothered by that! Good for them i guess. Still have huge spiders run across the floor at night. One spider set up home right next to the one in the kitchen. Total waste of money and electric running them.

I leave little creatures on the kitchen counter every night.Every night.I inserted one of these mosquito repellents into each plug in the kitchen.Three in all.No more poop.At least on the counter, not in the kitchen, unless it's somewhere I haven't found it yet.There is no smell.It does have a slight blue light.Not enough to be a night light.Or anything.Another socket can be used for insertion.

the earth pin which is the top pin in the plug is marginally too thick so it was not possible to insert into the socket. I tried it in a more recent socket (Crabtree make) and it fitted perfectly. it looks like i will need to change some of the power sockets to Crabtree in order to use these repellents. For now i have fitted a multi-socket adapter which does accept the repellent. as to whether the repellent is working in keeping the mice away it is too early to say but early signs are good.

I am so statisfied with this product! It help me get rids of cockroach and mice in my apartment. I place this device on each room and in every corner of my house and it work amazingly good for these few days. No complains to tell yet. Less and less insect in my apartment now. Its a good improvement for me. Such a good product with affordable price. I should buy this product sooner.
