my son's normal size right now is 7 but bought a 10 and it fits great with some growing room.

Nice Holiday PJ’s
These arrived on time and in perfect condition. The fit was as expected. After reading prior reviews that these run small, I ordered a size larger. I gave it only 4 stars because the material in the pajama shorts was not as soft as the shirt, even after washing.

Order larger
Great quality cotton set. It’s hard to find harder sizes for kids who still love cotton PJ sets, so it was a lucky find!

Good for hot sleepers.

soft material
Buy up a size larger. They fit perfect before washing then after washing they shrink at least one size. The material is soft and comfortable. My grandson is 8 and tall and thin. I ordered a size 10 and they shrink to an 8.

Runs small
Love the design and feel of material. Was buying big or so I thought so he could wear thru summer but they just do fit. Would recommend 2 sizes up. I went one and that just did fit.
