Excellent build quality, Great phone!
Bought this phone as a second phone mainly for the camera. Huawei have always been renowned for their camera and for me personally it doesn't disappoint. Images are crisp bright clear and colourful and this is on auto setting. Have yet to play around with the settings. Low light photography this thing shines. The battery seems to drain quicker than expected, however I still have to do a couple of charge and discharge cycles to get the best out of the battery like most phones so hopefully this will improve over time. The fingerprint recognition on the side is a great idea for one hand operation as on screen ones I could never do it with one hand 👍 just an observation. There's a lot of negative feedback on here about the phone not having Google play which I don't get because it does say "it does not support Google play" Personally I have cloned my old phone and my apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, Messanger and Instagram all function perfectly. Don't buy the phone if you rely heavily on Google apps it doesn't support a lot of the banking apps like Amex, santander etc. Not even the Costa app 🙄 Based on my experience, if I take all the things which are important to me like price, performance, phone features, phone spec, camera, 5G. speed. I can't really fault it. I would recommend 👍👍👍

No google apps
This phone is new and subject to the USA google ban. So no Gmail. No google. No google play store. Huawei have an app store but it does not carry supermarkets in the UK for example. Useless to me as a disabled woman so had to return it.

It's a very good phone all round
Finger print and face recognition is some thing I do not use but the battery life is very good even using the double sim

Beaware NOT Google Play store friendly
I had the phone with me for 2 hours until I realize that Google Play store does not work on that particular Phone. Huawei has some phone working with Google Play store some don't.If you don't need Google play store then go for it, great phone I believe at a very sensible price. If you need/use google play store then stay clear for this product. At the time of writing, June 2020, I am using the Huawei Nova 5T 128GB (on Amazon) and it has Google Play store on it.

Read before you buy
After what I thought was a problem was pretty easy to sort out and now I'm very happy with the phone, yes it doesn't have a lot of the Google apps but there is a way to get them on the phone and it's perfect,

Great phone but zero app access
Right. First off this is a lovely phone, great hardware and lovely camera.OK, it's too large for your pocket like every other phone on the market right now but I can't knock a star off for that because every phone company doesn't understand human pocket sizes right now so it would be unfair to specifically penalise Huawei. That said, it has ZERO access to the Play store or the Amazon store. This means that you get NO USEFUL APPS unless you don't speak English and want a weird foreign store with unknown apps in it. The only app I've managed to get which is commercially available that I want is WhatsApp. No banking apps, no ebay, no amazon, nothing. The only way to get access to an app is through a weblink on your phone desktop to your browser. This is tolerable but not what you'd choose if you knew this before you bought the phone. Then again it's £200 less than a decent Samsung phone so perhaps it's acceptable but I knocked 3 stars off for this. I tried downloading and installing the apk's for the other stores - it simply doesn't work. This phone regained 1 star because this is the first phone company I've come across which provides live support through the phone if you need it which I have used twice and it's very handy. It is a nice phone but there's simply no decent software support for it out there until companies realise (by which I mean they need to support more than the Play, Amazon, Apple stores or they'll lose a lot of business) Huawei is a company to be reckoned with oh the phone side rather than just the network side which the West is paranoid regarding security about.
