I thought Amazon had made a mistake when I received these stakes. They came inside a clear plastic sealed bag and had lots of zipties holding them together. It wasn't until I read another review that said they had a short and tall function that I actually opened the bag. There are two parts to each stake. They slide together and become 30 inches! I am so glad because I have some really tall amaryllis.

The media could not be loaded.  These are the perfect height for my P. Hope Selloum. I’ve had my Selloum for about a year and this summer it got HUGE. Well.. definitely too big for my tiny apartment. Plus they have a sticky sap that covers all the leaves and I was concerned that it might get on my curtains. I was using bamboo sticks before but I didn’t like having to tie the stalks using twist toes. These stakes are just the thing I needed. They support the plant without being invasive. Actually I’ve been debating getting them for over a year, but I didn’t want to go overboard with my plant care expenses. I’m so glad I got them.. the only thing I wish is that there were more of them. The hole part is big enough to do the job of several stakes so it has worked out well so far. I’ll post an update if I see a decline in quality. For now these stakes look like they’re high quality and not at all tacky.

The plant stakes are two separate pieces which you fit together. They come apart WAY TOO easilyI am sorry I purchased them and I would not recommend them

I bought these for my dad’s amaryllis. They worked out great with the telescoping capability. I actually used two per stalk to keep it growing straight up.

You will end up with five stakes wether they're used in the short form or the tall form. They are sturdier than the green ones I previously used. I am using them to support floppy hyacinth blossoms. They hold up the stems easily.

These are good because you have the shorter and longer options all in one. They held up the various stages of my shorter sunflowers.

I'm back for more. I bought these to stick in pots and hang small hummingbird feeders from them, but I also realized I can stick them between the roof and siding of my shed and hang full size hb feeders from them. I need more.

These steaks worked perfectly for my outdoor balcony plants. My Tiger Lilies have grown to around 5 feet. The steaks come up the plants about half way, being pushed to the bottom of the pots. I like the roomy top loop as it gives the plants plenty of space to move with the wind.
