Whole wheat Flour, often called Wheaten flour in Ireland, 100% whole grain flour, with no bran removed, gently milled at very low temperatures to retain its full flavour. As well as being the main ingredient of Traditional Soda Bread, adding this flour is a perfect way of adding some of the natural fibre and minerals back in to your usual baking when using Strong White Flour. This flour is quite low in Protein so if used alone without the addition of Strong White Bread flour it would produce quite a dense textured loaf.

I wanted to buy high fibre and unpolished/whole meal flour to make chapatis for Indian cooking. This flour fit my bill completely. The final rotis are a bit hard/tight but once you develop the taste you will never go back to the whole, refined flour

Excellent quality and produces lovely bread.
I strongly recommend this flour. Being a devotee of soda bread I highly recommend the flour as i have had excellent results with my soda bread.
