Top of the frig stopped working, while the freezer was fine on my 20yr Samsung & this fixed it. Easy install.

couldn't find an appliance parts house near me that could find this part, this was perfect for our Samsung bottom freezer fridge.

Ordered for refrigerator door. Fit perfectly and work great. Save me about $1000.00

Part package was torn open, face plate of the switch was broken, the beauty ring had a big wear mark and the part overall had all this black dust on it

The door switch that controls the fan and lights on my 18 year old Samsung refrigerator (a SR57NXA) failed in a rather smoky fashion (see the attached pic) and I found this replacement part. Shipped very quickly to Singapore and the removal of the burned out switch and replacement with the new one took less than 3 minutes, turn off the fridge, unplug it from mains to be safe, take a knife blade, slip it under the soft plastic gasket to press on the retaining latch and then use a flat screwdriver to pry the old switch out, unplug the old switch, plug in the new one and then slot the new switch back in. Make sure the new switch orientation is the same as the old one. Lights and fans should be working now, hopefully for the next 10-15 years.
