really helped with my stiff fingers

I brought this as a present for my partner who has arthritis to strengthen her fingers it does help but also if you are in pain then probably best not to use unless you have a good day.

really cool ,lets you practice your scales and keeps your fingers working well,ie builds up your sensitive pads.i keep it in my pocket at work,practice my scales when walking about.the way to do that is say ?you want to learn a D major scale it would be 2-4 1-2-4 1-3 1-3 1-2-4 1-3-4 and so on,you begin to see it in your minds eye.very handy to have.thanks too Elia for my gift ***

After using this for some time, I haven't had any problems with its durability - the construction is simple and sturdy. It's mainly made out of plastic, but the palm part is comfortably padded. The whole device is a bit small - something to consider if you have larger than usual hands.

Brought this for my dad who had a stroke, helps him with his weakness in his fingers.

It Does what it says, but i find that as a guitarist it doesnt have any use because it ends up damaging your fingers rather than building their muscle. I would advise a pass on this from a musician point of view, and it does not help RSI. (i am developing RSI and this makes it worse)

This product actually saved my life as a pianist. By thinking the same as everyone else would naturally: 'Higher Tension = Better, Highest tension = God-like fingers' I went and bought the strongest gripmaster I could find (11lbs), big mistake, within a few days of average workout I found my fingers seizing up in front of my piano, and my primary instrument (Bass Guitar) became uncomfortable to play, my fingers couldn't keep up with anything fast. So, I went right down to other end of the spectrum and got the lightest one I could find. Within minutes of workout most of my fingers' former dexterity was restored like magic! Don't be fooled by the tempting higher tensions, this is the best one on the market.

I am a pianist and my daughter plays marimba. While this looks like something only a horn player would use, hand strength is very important for all instruments. Good quality,well made, and portable. My daughter has been taking this to school and using it during the day when listening to lectures (and when not needing to take notes). It works much better than the hand-strengthening balls we had purchased earlier. That little finger is sure getting a workout ! Great product.
