Friendship According to Humphrey (Humphrey the Hamster)

I liked this book because it has a hamster in it. Humphrey was really kind.I would recommend sharing this book with my friends.This book was one of the best books I ever read!

I think the book is really good because every week he helps someone and can teach you life lessons.*note from parent* this book series is also being read in school. Perfect Perfect 9 year olds

This book, like all the others in the Humphrey series is absolutely brilliant. My 7 year old grandaighter adores him and demands that I read a Humphrey story every time she stays with us. Some American references that may appear odd to a British child but are easily explained. Superb. I will be getting another one soon!

This book really explores the nature of the classroom, friendships and emotions. It is a perfect read for KS2 children and a great starting point for class discussions. This kind of book in particular can also make it easy to tackle sensitive issues such as bullying in an accessible way. Lovely!

It is a really good story about a hamster who has lots of educational adventures. Humphrey stories are very entertaining, even for parents. We are going to purchase another Humphrey story as our next bed time read!
