This thing was a huge frustration and I was clear about that. They responded and offered to "trade" my yuk one for a new one. Their communication was courteous, respectful and PROMPT! They reached out after my complaint - within a day. And from there, communication was consistently excellent. I am so appreciative of my new printer! I have not gotten to try it out yet - I will this weekend and will add pictures. I just had to take a moment to send a huge shout out to Kodak Photo Printer Support | Prinics.#kodakcares #kodakphotoprintersupport #Prinic #kodakWhen I see or experience excellent customer care, I like to share share share the joy!First time I went to print, it printed yellow and pulled the page in to print magenta and stopped, then spat out a strip of ink-film with my yellow layer and apparently the ink cartridge was destroyed.I took so long to try it that I am past return period so…will order another film cartridge and hope for the best.What a totally frustrating situation!

This printer works really well! It takes a little time to print a photo and it lays down the colors in layers and then it laminates the photo afterwards. But after this process the photo looks just like any picture that you would get from any photo printer. It's worth it for what we need it for. My mom likes to print photos to send to her best friend who lives far away. This is perfect for that. She doesn't have to use a computer, she just uses her phone, the app connects automatically to her phone through our network and she can print things right from the gallery on her phone. The app is pretty easy to use. So I recommend this printer. It's really good for the money that you spend on it, it's a small compact size, and it's easy for my older mother to manage on her own.

This little printer works great. The picture quality is really amazing. It came with the color ribbon preloaded which was very convenient. Easy instructions and setup

Update: After over an hour of struggling with this machine, I finally decided to try one piece of paper at a time, and surprise, it worked! It's a little annoying to have to do this, but the pictures came out perfectly. I've changed my rating from one star to 4 stars.Positives:1. Easy to use. Instructions aren't great, but it's very easy to figure out without good instructions. Once you connect with bluetooth, it tells you what to do.2. With the new firmware update (mine was two years old), I don't have to plug in my iPhone to the device (I did two years ago). It works great with bluetooth.3. The pictures are a decent quality. Not perfect, like you get from a professional, but good enough.4. It's very inexpensive, but not cheaply made.5. It's very small. It comes apart for storage and takes up very little space.Con:Only one - and a problem I didn't have when it was new, now I can only load one sheet of paper at a time. When it was new I could load 40 sheets, as directed in the instructions. For some reason, that doesn't work anymore. But it's a minor problem. Overall, still a great little printer.Original Review (1 star)I bought this printer two years ago, April 28, 2022. I printed 10 pictures with it, then didn't use it again until today, February 14, 2025.After updating the software, opening a brand new package of Kodak paper 4 x 6 inch and placing it properly in the tray, and inserting a brand new, unopened Kodak Photo Printer Cartridge, also 4 x 6 inch, it won't print. I get "Photo Paper Unrecognition" response. The paper is properly placed in the tray, with shiny side facing up and Kodak logo on bottom. I've readjusted it several time. Both the paper and cartridge were in sealed packages, brand new. I ordered extra when I purchased this printer two years ago. I'm extremely disappointed in this product.

The media could not be loaded. *tip* If you want to cancel a print before it starts and wastes a sheet (because I was about to print a duplicate on accident), double click the print button.Printer requires the app to use.This is great as it is convenient to print at home and not go somewhere or wait for prints to ship.You can only select and print up to 5 pictures at a time, no photo dumping. Takes a touch over a minute to print each photo.You must have the app open and tap after each print before it will do the next. I found it easier to just do one at a time as it struggled to continue with I selected more than one photo to print at a time.The image quality isn’t great, the color is slightly off and it lacks the same definition as a good quality print (no it’s not my picture, I even did a professional quality phot and it wasn’t printed great).Ink comes with your paper refills, so you get the exact amount of ink for the amount of sheets you order.Overall, it’s better than my regular printer. It is more convenient. Great for printing pictures for my kids to have in their rooms, for around the house, sending to friends and family. Just not for framing.
