I item works for strings on shorts that keep hiding back in the shorts.

I never thought I would get through a pack of 40, but I use them for so many different things that I find myself ordering more. The most common thing I use them for is drawstring shorts, which amazingly are not usually fitted out with toggles when you order them; they also work for hat ties, lanyards, all kinds of other stuff. To those who say that the opening is too small or the spring is too weak to use for drawstring shorts, you are using them wrong...the proper way is to put one toggle on each string (don't try to put two strings through one toggle) and then it will work very well.

Like many, I bought these as an alternative to tying a bow on facemasks. The orifice was smaller than expected, but using a chopstick and needle nose pliers, I was able to eventually get two ties through. Took a few minutes, but it was a one-time job and I don't have to repeat for each wearing. The toggles themselves look to be well made, and I'm sure I'll find other uses for them.

Bought these to use on my face mask t-shirt yarn ties. The yarn went through the hole with a little push. I don't have to bother with tying bows now and get a great fit. When I don't need my mask on I release the lock and the mask can hang around my neck until I need to put it on again.

I bought these so we could custom fit our face masks. They work great. My husband and the kids (4 &5 yr old) use them to pull mask strings behind their head and I use them to tighten the elastic behind my ears. I marked it down a star though because a couple of them came in pieces, however I didn’t need as many as were in the package, so this was only a slight annoyance.
