Quite linear and doesn't have much hysteresis. I am using this with a SparkFun signal conditioner and it is easy to calibrate. The mounting holes are good and I am amazed at how linear it is. I have a lab Mettler and calibration weights to compare to. For the money you should be happy with this. The leads are a bit short and fragile so you need to devise a good way to attach and secure them.

Worms properly with HX711 and Raspi within 1 gram resolution. Can probably get it to a half gram.One important thing to note is the bolt size. The product description here says it needs M3 and M4 bolts when in fact you need M4 and M5. This required me to make an additional trip to home depot.

I've bought 3 of these total. One was defective from the start. The other two have been fine. Seems reasonably stable and repeatable in readings. Its an OK item, but buy a spare. If I had not had a second one working one, troubleshooting the problem would have been a tough.

Bought six of these, including some of the 5kg and 20kg versions. Only 3 of the six worked out of the box, the other three were DOA (no change in output when force applied). One of the tiny wires between the two polymer blobs was frayed, and soon broke. The other two are still working, however they are quite fragile. Gave it one extra star just because of the low price and the fact that such an item is even available on Amazon.

This stuff works in the exact way I want.

I purchased three of these over the last month. The first unit was is great shape and worked well so I decided to purchase two more. When they arrived they were clearly not new product (nicks and dings and sticky residue on the bar) so I decided to do a replacement with amazon for two more. I returned those two only to get two more that were also clearly used. I don't see how they can list them as new and charge new pricing when they are sending used products.

It would be really nice to have access to a data sheet available on the page where purchased.

Took a bit to get it to work with the arduino but once calibrated it worked well. Shipped very quickly.
