Update 7/14/19: The company contacted me and sent me better instructions and a video for installation. I followed them and the gap is pretty much non-existent now. Great tech support and product!I like the looks of it. the problem I have with it is when the case is snapped on, the laptop does not fully close with the magnet any longer, and I don't like the small gap it has where the touchpad is.

Update Nov. 14th 2019: A few weeks ago I was sent a replacement case by the seller. Once they realized I was unhappy they really worked very hard to make things right. The new case isn’t perfect, but is definitely much better, and more than acceptable considering the price. I am now very happy with my purchase, and am very pleased with the kindness and effort of the seller. If you are looking for a case that is 100% perfect in every way, this isn’t it, and you should definitely expect to spend more. This is a very good case considering the price and the unique design. Well done!————Original review below.————I bought the blue fabric case to fit a 2019 13 inch MacBook Pro. I really, really wanted to give this 5 stars. I really admire the overall design, and the soft finish to the inside of the case. Unfortunately, for the following reasons, I had to down-rate the case.After receiving the case I noticed that some of the fabric was peeling around the slots on the bottom. - 1 star.The day after the case arrived, I emailed the seller about the issue. After over a month there still has been no response. - 1 star.There is sloppy mold work around the edges. - 1 star.Finally, after just over a month of use, the fabric and rubber are beginning to peel from the edge of the case. - 1 star.Also, the hook-nubs on the front edge of the lower case constantly slip off due to pressure when the laptop is closed. I’m not sure how or why this is happening, but I’m out of stars to delete anyway.

I ordered this product for my new Macbook air a1932 and it fit perfectly! The quality of the fabric is fantastic and looks even better in real life than the pictures provided. Protection wise, it does not cover the full bottom in the back in order for it to open all the way which is kinda unclear in the photos but doesn't effect me much. Sometimes when I close my Macbook the top portion on the case will push the bottom right tab off so I have to push it back on when I open again or close the lid slowly, which is the only reason why i gave it 4 instead of 5, but overall it is a thin, beautiful case and I would definitely recommend it for a friend.

the grey fabric finish is right on-trend. I get it, there is no trend watcher following you. You do need to read the instructions for attaching it to your MacBook Pro, however, this is because it actually clips around your laptop a bit. I was not compensated for the review and I paid full price for this cover. it looks great, i love the fabric quality. I looked at some name brand cases that were double this price and were just think plastic. I did not have the fit or finish issues others mentioned and I just got it yesterday so long term I cannot speak to the durability but so far I love it.

Update:I left the original review below. I wish I didn't have to update this but, as it turns out, despite the nice look and the grips remaining intact on the bottom, other issues have emerged. Specifically, because it is made out of fabric on top of a plastic shell, with use, the rubber edging that holds the fabric to the frame has peeled off leaving the edges of the fabric to fray and pull away from the plastic frame. I used some hot glue to reattach it but it doesn't look great and without the rubber along the bottom frame, I can feel the plastic scratching my wrists when I type.I love this cover! It’s professional looking (I got the gray one) and very good quality. The bottom grips are still on after several weeks with no signs of falling off. All other covers I’ve had the grips have fallen off in the first week. The fabric cover adds cushion to the laptop and a greater sense of protection. Again, other plastic covers I’ve had cracked or split just from carrying in my padded laptop bag. Would buy again but don’t think I’ll have to! If you are looking for a cover where the Apple symbol glows through it this is not the one for you.

So for the good! Nice look and the protection is better than if there is nothing on it at all. I feel it offers also better protection and grip than those plastic covers and those crack very easy, trust me they do and the plastic is a bit thicker and with the fabric and I like the top cover with the medium grey look. Fits really really good too, tight and does not seam to just fall off like some others seam to and what I was concerned was will it make this thin Macbook 12 really thick and no it dose not, a tad bit but not much maybe an 1/8 for the top and for the bottom total!Now the bad, mine came with some areas that did not have the fabric glued to the plastic not huge but some how missed QC.For $19.99 a very good buy for your Macbook 12, just make sure that you have the A1534 model!!

Got this cover when I noticed some micro scratches on the top of my MacBook Pro and while I love the look of the computer itself I don’t want to damage it so I got this cover. The texture is really nice and won’t slip out of your hand when holding or loading into a backpack. The fit is really tight I had some trouble getting the cover on but once it’s on you know it’s not going to slip or fall off which is a plus. Overall a great cover for the MacBook Pro.

Dislike?- Nothing. Like?- different than all the other cases out there. Warm to touch, easy to attach, plenty of air venting so the fan doesn’t kick in to overdrive and overheat, love the subdued look, color. Of course, if there was a dark green one out there it just might be in my future. This red is beautiful and the feel of the fabric is like the feel of a good book.If you are tired of all the notebook cases that scream cuteness this is the case to get.
