Really cool bit of kit, arrived yesterday just before my camping trip and it was a delight! So versatile and really well thought out. I wouldn’t rely on it for a sole insulating layer, needs to be paired with something for cold weather climates. I would say a good wool jumper underneath this and you’re in business. Also can be used as a quilt as I don’t like the constrictions of a sleeping bag. Paired with a wool blanket I slept great at 6°c and was very warm. I would say it’s worth getting it’s money 100%

Expensive, but Helikon products are usually good quality. Have used this a few times now and it has kept me warm and cozy, A versatile poncho, no problems so far.

I got this mainly to use as an under blanket for a hammock when bike packing, due to its packable size it comes in smaller than many under blankets that don't cost £££, the clips that run down each side actually line up perfectly with the attachment points on my dd hammock, Brought 6 mini fishing carabiners to attached to these and at each end and it works a treat. had a VERY windy night hammock camping in Sweden and felt none of the chill come through. but it has so many applications I've used as a warm poncho when the temps dropped in the evenings and we're outside, as a sleeping bag/blanket as it is, again, smaller than taking a regular bag. I love it, light, warm, windproof, super versatile, lives in the bottom of my bag if I go away from home overnight, I've also seen it used opened ended and zipped round the whole hammock as a sort of cocoon but have not tried this set up yet, fantastic bit of kit, well used already in the few months I've owned it

I'm 6ft and 22 stones and surprised it was comfortable regarding fitting. I wouldn't pay £150 plus for one though. I paid £99. That is the fair price I believe. It is light even when wet and dries quite quick. I chose orange as I'm a cyclist for safety.

Full seam check found no flaws or loose threads anywhere. Reinforced tabs for buckles and all toggles etc well placed and put together . I rarely 5 star because there is usually room for improvement no matter how small . In this case the 5 stars are earned .

Very warm, light and packable, doubles up as a blanket for 2 if you want to get close

Had used a woobie for years. This is a little warmer, water repellent and multi use. May benefit from a compression sack if you travel minimalist. Very happy with it.

This is a excellent piece of kit. Highly recommended!

Super Teil

Der Poncho hält wirklich warm und hält den kalten Wind gut ab. Ich habe ihn immer als letzte Schicht mit auf dem Hochsitz und ziehe ihn dann über, sobald es schattig wird. Er ersetzt keine Jacke oder dicken Pulli. Aber als zusätzliche Schicht ist er optimal. Auch mal ein kleiner Regen kann ihm nichts anhaben. Ein Stern Abzug müsste ich ihm geben, da er für einen jagdlichen Zweck zu laut ist. Ziehe den Stern aber nicht ab, da er ja auch nicht explizit für die Jagd konzipiert wurde. Kann ihn trotzdem empfehlen!

Great poncho , i also use it as a sleeping bag/blanket while back packing during spring and fall and its plenty warm & lightw. Also some reviews say that the head hole is too small but i dont have that issue and im a big guy (6'3- 250 lbs)

This thing is amazing definitely a must have for the off road rig, bush pack or any outdoor activity Lite weight sleeping bag, poncho and blanket. Truly a game changer
