2 Pack- Milrose 70885 Blue Monster 1/2" x 1429' Blue Teflon Tape

ok...so, finally a product I purchased on Amazon that excited me! After 40 some years of using and struggling with the "white" Teflon tape I came across this Blue Monster Tape.I read the reviews,looked at the specifications,studied the ad a little more and after looking at the price (we all know we can buy a multiple roll package at the Big Box Stores for very little money.) clicked,and went on to something else.Over the next several days,I started thinking about this tape.WHY??who knows but,I had this job coming up that involved replacing hose bibbs, copper pipe and two ball shut-off valves with compression fittings all this while working through 10X10 access panel.Yes,one of my favorite jobs,the washing machine in-wall supply box.This is what the homeowner wanted ,not PEX.Here is where the Blue MONSTER TAPE COMES IN...Trying to use the old tape in the tight area was what I really had been dreading . As I found working with this tape was (1) thicker than the old tape(2)thicker means less turns(3)easier to wrap around the threads...goes down neatly.I was working with a 12 inch length feeding the tape between the two pipes.the tape did not stick to the other tape nor did it fold.The best part to end this story ,not one leak!Try this product...you won't be disappointed.P.S. you do receive an over-size roll (helps to take the sting out of the price.)

This is just the best. I use it when putting fittings together for engine block heaters for large Diesel engines with 100+ gallons in the cooling systems. I also use them in diesel fuel applications and other oils. No leaks yet. The thickness makes application quick and easy, and it seals up very well.

The pic shows the product made in Australia so I paid more than from other amazon sellers but the product arrived made in China. Not a fan of misrepresentating products.

I just used it on a 1/4" plastic to steel pipe connection for water and it worked great.No leaking at all, relatively easy to use compared to regular PTFE (teflon) tape.Note it does snap apart a lot easier then the normal PTFE tape you get at the hardware store.It has very little elongation from stretching before snapping. I guess that’s a lot better since it fills in without shredding itself.But if you are used to pulling and stretching while you apply it, you might snap it so it take a little practice.

Whatever other teflon tapes you use, toss 'em out. The first time that you don't twist this stuff into an unusable string, or don't have to wrap it 4-12 times around a hard-to-reach stub, you'll see the gross negligence that all other teflon tape manufactures have been getting away with. This stuff works better than pipe dope and is way less messy. We have struggled to get stainless fittings and pipe to seal up well, until we found this Blue Monster tape. It's 10x better than the traditional white tape. We will, and do, continue buying this stuff. GREAT PRODUCT!!

Only Teflon tape I buy, really end of story!!! I am a landscaper and I buy only the best. This is a 2 pack, it lasts me most of the job at a residential site. If you are doing lots of work buy the case. Even if I wasn't in the landscaping business I'd buy this

I originally purchased this from a plumbing supply store and was use to the thin white teflon tape in the big box stores. But after using this for several years, I will never go back. This tape is thick and does not take more than two wraps. I have not had any worries about leaks after using this tape and highly recommend.
