works well
works well. Used it on an axle shaft where the axle nut came loose and worn the threats out. You'll have to work it back and forth, but it fixed the threads and was able to install a new axle nut

Just get it
Blue Point ( Snap On ) just for the Metric sizes it’s $510.00 I cannot justify that price. Saved me a headache and the customer $1000s. Best investment I’ve made under $100 in years for tools

It works
It fixed my problem and saved a ton of money.

Too big for a tight area.
I think it might work if the spigot wasn't so close to the wall. The tool is a little tool big to fit against a tight area. For this odd job, I need something like a tap and die set for the garden hose spigot. The teeth seem quite solid. The tool itself is not as precise as one might hope.

Diesel mechanics, buy this.
Diesel mechanic must have, fits all splines it's come across, a rarely used tool that you'll breathe a sigh of relief if you ever do need it. Otherwise you'll be calling an axle surgeon just to see him pull this tool out anyway lol.

Very well made !!
Ordered this plus extra metric thread chasers. Used on my Tundra axle. Worked great ! Use this before you reinstall the bearings as you need the room to use this. Not a small tool !!"
