I have sleep apnea in certain situations (like when I fall asleep sitting upright on my couch). I was playing around with this oximeter the other day on my couch watching TV, watching my pulse beat away when I fell asleep. Next thing I know I’m awakened by an alarm coming from the oximeter and realized that I wasn’t breathing very well as I had fallen asleep upright and this thing picked up on that and told me as much! Then, silly me, I did it again, and this oximeter woke me up, again, with its chirping as if to say, “Hey fool! Your dying!” LOL! You can set the point at which the alarm will signal you. Here is was set to 95% blood oxygen level. This is a use I accidently discovered but has really woken me up (pardon the pun) to a medical issue I need to get resolved.The pulse meter is spot on. I can feel my own pulse in my finger while wearing it and it doesn’t miss a beat (sorry, another pun). Along with the oxygen meter and pulse meter, it also has what’s called the perfusion index (PI). This is the ratio of the pulsatile blood flow to the nonpulsatile or static blood in peripheral tissue. In other words, it tells you how well it can sense your pulse (20% being the strongest detection). Not only can this tell you if you need to adjust it on your finger, but it can help diagnose you with other cardiac conditions.The device is comfortable to wear with a bright legible screen and adjustable brightness (see pictures). It came with easily replaceable AAA batteries and an instruction booklet and lanyard. Compared to other oximeters I researched, the screen on this one seemed to be the brightest and easiest to read. I think I was right! I always thought it would be cool to own one of these every time I went to the doctor. It’s an interesting gadget to help you monitor your health I would definitely recommend this one.

I was hesitant buying a pulse oximeter off of Amazon, but this one turned out to be a worthy buy! I had never heard of LPOW before, but this one had more positive reviews than any other, and had the perfusion index, so decided to order. Got it within 24 hours of ordering (thank you Amazon Prime!) and was immediately pleased. Good durable construction, got readings within 6 seconds, and seemed great.I contacted a friend who works as a paramedic, and went to see him today to test it out. The LPOW pulse oximeter was spot on with SpO2, pulse, and PI with the readings on his equipment, so I'm confident I'm getting accurate readings. If you are looking for a good quality pulse oximeter at a good price, BUY THIS ONE!

I bought this because I felt like I couldn't breathe with my cloth mask on, and my heart would race. People kept saying that was impossible, but this oximeter ONLY shows significantly lower oxygen readings, and very inconsistent heartbeat rates, when I am wearing a cloth mask... and much more consistent and normal oxygen levels when not wearing a mask...I have tried it extensively in the same settings, with and without the mask, and only have the low readings when wearing a mask. I hope more people buy an oximeter to make sure their health is not being affected. I prefer to have all the oxygen I can get, I do not want to lower it up to 6%, so THANK YOU for this product to show me what is going on.

Awesome! Please read instructions because you need to take the batteries out each time and clean the oximeter with alcohol. I read everything, so I wasn't expecting to need to take the batteries out but it makes sense. Don't want to spread COVID-19. This is now considered a disease by the CDC. Vitamin D3, Vitamin C, Zinc. Elderberry extract are good supplements if you have been exposed. Walk outside three times per day for 10 minutes to get blood flowing. That is very important. Stay safe everyone. We can beat this, but we need to be proactive immediately by doing those things.

I found this one and went through the reviews and felt like it was a steal for that price, especially because it gives you the perfusion index as well. Most of the other oximeters don’t give you the PI% value. I’ve been using the product for a dew days now and I’m really glad about my purchase! It’s easy to use and give fast results. I even compared the pulse rate from my apple watch to this product and they were almost similar. All in all I would recommend this product for anyone looking to buy a simple oximeter!

My father was very ill and kept coughing. I recommended he get one of these ASAP and got one day shipping. It was the best investment I've ever made in my life and it saved his life. It turns out he had COVID-19 phenomena and right after I took his oxygen reading I took him directly to the ER. Without this I don't know if he would've survived the night. So thankful for one day shipping on this item. Easy to read, easy to use, comes ready in the box so you can take it out and do what you need to do. It is a life saver and in our current time it is definitely handy to have around.

It feels like it has very solid and durable construction. Also, it's super quick as I got results within 5 seconds!To put it to the ultimate test, I had a doctor's appointment and took it with me. I put it on one finger and the doc put theirs on my other. This pulse oximeter was spot on with SpO2, pulse, and PI with the readings on my doctor's so I'm confident I'm getting accurate readings.

When I purchased finger blood pressure monitor I did not know that it would not work if you wear nail polish. Since I always have gel nail I cannot use this and will give it to someone as a gift who does not wear nail polish. No reviews mentioned anything about nail polish causing inaccurate reading.

After a positive covid test and feeling awful I bought this as recommended by a nurse friend. My bloody oxygen reading went into the 70s so I was rushed to hospital under blue lights and put on a ventilator. After a week in hospital I was finally good enough to come out off oxygen. This thing literally saved my life.
