My goodness what a bargain, this is only one of a few watches I ordered during the sale recently. A couple have yet to arrive but if they are all like this and the others I have I am well pleased. The cost was less than a watch battery, so I was prepared to write it off if it was a dud. Not only does it look good, nice and simple without loads of silly tiny dials which can't be seen without a magnifying glass, no gimmicks, it's just a timepiece. What impressed me wasn't just the appearance but it was not running when I got it as some are thus the battery will be part used. The crown (winder) has a tiny plastic bit under it and all you do is pull it out with tweezers and the watch starts, so simple. Some budget watches I have bought have similar failings. The lovely shiny silver or gold coating on the body of the watch will eventually rub off, part of the reason is the contents of your skin, the natural chemicals can have an adverse effect of other than pure minerals, silver or gold if the watch is worn day after day and never removed. SO I buy a "collection of watches"the total price being less than that for a "designer watch", which if lost means I've lost a lot of money and I circulate them and war them for short periods of time, they keep good time and look good what more can you ask.One other factor is the strap, is it leather or composite? It's hard to tell at first but in any case I've known straps fitted by expensive watch shops to have a tiny loop retainer on the strap simply come apart, this has happened to one of my budget watches already but who cares, I'll get one fitted by "the man in the Mall". One of my budget watches bought two years ago is now looking like a copper watch, which gives the impression I bought it to match the copper bracelet I often wear, but in reality it's the thin surface of "chromium" that has worn but yet again who cares, it's "different". I like my collection of watches and I like knowing I didn't spend a fortune on them. I do have one which did cost a fortune a "GUCCI" (a gift) I hardly wear it in case I lose it and it looks pretentious but for all the cost it doesn't even have numerals on it just marks, after all it's for "posers"!

It arrived one day before the deadline, adequately packed in protective thin foam stuff, and once I'd pulled the little plastic clip out from the winder (yes, I know, it's an electronic watch and doesn't need winding) and pushed it in, the second started up.Setting the hands accurately is a little bit awkward, as the gearing between the winder and the hands means a small turn results in a quite big movement of the hands, so go gently. It's been running for over 24 hours now and is nicely accurate.My elderly sleeping dog happily modelled the watch for you, just to prove I am a real customer (with a real, snoring, dog) who is happy with his (surprisingly light) watch - well, the strap may not be the greatest, but that's easily sorted, and, in my eyes, not enough to lose a full star; maybe half of one... The wrist is mine (it's really hard to hold a 10" tablet in one hand and take a stable and sharp photo at the same time) and as the picture with flash shows the watch nicely I took one without to show it in natural (i.e. lightbulb) light.I also ordered one of these watches with a brown strap for a friend and he's also happy with it, so a result all round.

I bought this on a whim as my regular watch is difficult to read. It arrived in good time, I am pleased with the design, it is easy to read and the strap gives an upmarket look. It is keeping good time and is accurate as my expensive standard watch (which I have put away) and use this one all the time.The only issue is when setting the time, the hour hand tends to move freely so you have to insure that it is on the hour and push the winder in carefully when the hour is struck. The strap buckle is a bit fiddly but when closed is fine. I am so pleased I have ordered two more so I should be okay for sometime to come!

Really good looking watch for not a lot of money. Took quite a while to arrive but worth the wait. Keeps good time but not sure about its longevity. Time will tell! The strap is cheap but what can you expect. Easy to change for a better one in due course. Would buy again.

As as a watch its fine.The strap is very small.I'm just average wrist I think. Very last hole I had to use to close it...2 days wear..The strap is fraying.Strap broke...fine I suppose.it was poor.had straps... Watch just ...stopped.. Not battery.. Junk.PS update. I decided to try another battery...impossible to get back off.Complete junk.Don't waste your money.in bin where it belongs

This watch is ace at the price. Only one snag, the little plastic clip under the winder had slipped so the watch was switched on when I got. it .This resulted in the battery being down. I popped a new battery in ( very easy). I now have a very accurate watch for very little outlay. I hold a card of watch batteries ( purchased from Amazon).Just the jolly old job! WK.

The watch now works well but I did experience a hiccup when it first arrived as it stopped working on a couple of occasions, however after putting it right each time it's been working fine ever since. I did have to change the watch strap for one of a better quality, as the one fitted to the watch when it arrived is of very poor quality and was difficult to do up.

As they say you get what you pay for ! Just wanted a everyday Watch to wear ! Lasted about a week thrn Stopped, changed battery, went for 2 days ! went in Bin !!! Not worth bothering with !!!
