Sturdy and sharp.
These are good. I had an old one of different brand which was great, but I lose it occasionally due to its small size, so I wanted to have more on hand. Gave some away too. Works well, is sturdy and sharp. Will buy again if needed.

Light, Small and Functional
I bought this product to be kept with a collection of food I have stored in case of power outage or other such events. The pack I bought had four pieces to it. Each piece is very light weight and could be carried around all day without any issue. I was going to put one on my key ring but I soon discovered that the can opener opens up while inside of a pocket and the hooked edge catches on clothing meaning they do not sit in a pocket all that well. I have already tried to open cans of varying sizes and this can opener had no trouble with larger cans. If you have never used a can opener like this before you might have a few issues initially but after a can or two you should have no issue figuring it out. One of the things that I foresee as a potential issue is the durability. These are very cheaply made, I do not know how many cans you could open before it fails but i would not trust one to open up an entire emergency supply. If you plan on using these for a backpack, bug out bag or emergency kit I would recommend 2 or 3 can openers per each bag. You will likely not need all three but all you need is to twist one funny and break your only method of opening cans of food. This product is really not meant to be used daily. I have no doubt that if needed I could get into my cans of food without a problem with these can openers and I can save tons of space. I just tape these to the tops of the top of cans on the top of my collection and they do not poke above the lip of the can more then a few millimeters. This really is meant for camping, hiking or survival type events and activities. This is really not built to be used in a kitchen home or professional as the opening a single can takes a decent amount of effort and time which in a camping or survival situation is fine considering the almost non-existent weight added to a backpackPros: Lightweight, small, effective, large enough to fit in your fingers without problems (I have large hands)Cons: Not super durable, can not be kept in a pocket or on a key chain,All in all I am very satisfied with this product. There were no surprises the can opener does just that; open cans. It is not a very expensive product so it is no surprise it is made of inexpensive materials and not built to be used as a homes primary can opening method. I also prefer these P-51 to the P-38's, which are smaller. The P-51 is an excellent size at not to big to be annoying but definitely large enough to be functional.

Military grade
I love these can openers. They are small and very easy to use, just like we had in the Armed Forces in the old days. I can open a can before you can say your name, with one of these

They work. But how long will they last?
All 4 were tested once on 4 separate cans of food. They each worked fine. These are intended for some bugout bags, and it remains to be seen if they will last.

Video Demonstrates How to Use This Fine, Simple Can Opener
The media could not be loaded. We've all become so accustomed to hand-crank can openers that it may be hard to accept that there are other, simpler, even better ways to open a can of food or supplies. This survival and military style can opener has been used to open many cans, and it never fails. Personally, I prefer it because it's smaller, easier to clean, and very effective. In my video, I demonstrate how to use the can opener, as it's a simple procedure -- but it's still the case, as with any tool, that you need do need to know what you're doing.I keep these can openers in all my various emergency and survival kits. Note that there are various sizes of these can openers. Personally, I prefer the larger ones just because they fit in my hands a bit better and offer a tad more leverage. This product was not given to me as part of any promotion. I bought it after doing some comparison shopping and this review is entirely the result of my own opinions and use of the product.

Great for backup or on the go
I keep these in my camping/bugout bag/truck just in case. Have you tried to open a can without a can opener? You CAN't. I read you can use the spine as a fire striker, too, but I haven't tried it yet. Might need to be ground down to give it a nice 90 degree angle.
