Makes 1/16 Revo Better!
I've had my MERV for over a decade. I just now decided to try this center diff. I have broke a couple diffs in the first couple years of owning while driving on 3s. Since then I just stuck with dual 2s in parallel. Plenty powerful and long run time. And haven't broke a diff since. But I also haven't driven it as much or as hard as I originally did. Hey the wheelies and standing backflips are fun for a while! But then you just need repairs often.I got the MERV back out recently and decided to do this upgrade. I drove a couple batteries while waiting for this part to arrive. Wheelies all the time, almost impossible to get to top speed without a very long road. Because if you give power it just flips over. Controllable by just being easier on acceleration. But not very forgiving.Now with this diff installed, I really have to try to do a wheelie. I can basically go full throttle at any time and not worry about back flipping (still have only tried dual 2s, 3s I'm sure is crazy still, but must be tamed some... I think I'll stick to 2s to help reduce chances of damage). It makes the vehicle just handle a lot better! Still has all the power. I don't notice any decrease in acceleration or speed. But it stays planted much better now!Diff came dry. I added in 50k diff oil and it seems perfect.Install took 15 minutes. Comes with good instructions, but I also suggest watching a YouTube video first. Then the install will go fast and smooth.

Works very well!
The media could not be loaded. I just installed the center diff into my 1/16 e revo VXL, and it makes the truck jump smoother and not flip as much. The revo is now enjoyable to cruise around doing smaller jumps. :)Update, after driving for a while in 2S, I am more than happy with how the truck performs. It doesn't wheelie but it does handle much better and steering is much cleaner. Drifting was improved, with the truck flipping over less. I am still able to launch it, and the truck seems to stay level more so in the air after jumps. Very happy with the results, I can drive my 1/16 E revo again. :)If you just bought a 1/16 E revo, buy this now and install it before you strip your diffs, and make sure your slipper is working. It makeS the truck much more enjoyable to drive. Still very fast, with smoother acceleration.

Fits 1/16 E-Revo
Fits 1/16 E-Revo, almost every forum you read mentions upgrading the center diff on a mini E-Revo. It's a little work to install and if you are going to be doing this one, it might be worth cleaning out your front and rear diff and changing the oil to something based on your preference. Recommended!

Improves handling on pavement
I put this into my Slash 1/16 and handling is much better on the road as it allows front and rear wheels to spin at different speeds. The turning circle of the vehicle is much smaller because the front wheels don't scrub. Even rock crawling it works well, because the thick oil in it gives a limited slip effect. Recommended for a more realistic driving experience and less stress on the drivetrain

Exactly what I needed
My 1/16 E-Revo was a little too eager to wheelie and hard braking caused an endo and fearing a loose slipper clutch would just cause it to wear super fast I went for this center differential. Out of the box it says it is filled with 50K fluid but upon opening the diff I can see that the gears appeared to be coated in fluid but it was definitely not filled. I was concerned that the diff would be too loose with only 50K based on my initial inspection but after realizing it was hardly filled at all I decided to fill it completely with 50K and I am glad I did because it increased the resistance a good 3 fold. The tension feels quite nice now and with my slipper at 1.25 turns backed off the car will only lift the front wheels an inch and then drop back down at full throttle and I don't hear the slipper nearly as much as before. I can also slam the brakes full on and I can see the rear tires skitter a little but they don't leave the ground and the car can no longer flip over.For reference, I am running a Velineon 3500 + VXL 3s from my Slash 4x4 with two 2S Gens Ace 2200mAh lipos in parallel.

Good center diff.
When I got my new center diff all the oil leaked out because a careless person at the factory didn't get one of the o-rings in properly. Good thing I had the oil and could correct it. I would give 5 stars but because mine showed up in a oily mess I will only give 4.

Work's great
Perfect for my 1/16 e revo vxl. Basically give's more power to the wheels with least traction, improving handling.I never ran it with the stock fluid first off because it was practically empty. Also the lighter the fluid the more power to the front. So I run 80k diff fluid, gives me a really nice even power distribution and I can still do wheelies.

Buy it, never regret it!
Complete ready to go component. Easy install, and now my truck doesn't flip and die when going faster than a brisk walk. There's a reason the racing truggies and such come with these from the factory. Also stops from stripping out pinion gears. Well worth the cash!

Works amazing with 50 weight diff oil ( one needs to add oil cos diff had almost nothing in it ) keeps the car from doing stupid flips bit still can pull wheelies but under control, over all drive way better and can put power down on my revo.
