3 Pc Wood Tie Bar Clip Set, 2.1 Inch, Macaranduba, Bamboo, Palo Santo in Gift Box

A cool set, the middle tone one goes really great with navy and light blue suits with similar colored belt and shoes. Some wooden cufflinks would be a great touch. The top bar is a natural wood color and would go great with a light blue or seersucker jacket and white shoes. Three stars because the bottom tone was not as pictured, instead of the rich reddish color shown it was very gray and rough looking. It would go with a blue suit and black shoes or a gray or charcoal suit.

Nice idea. Came in a pretty presentation box. But when my husband opened the package, 2 of the 3 clips were not attached to the wood (glue gave out). He can glue them back on and hopefully, the glue will stick, but I was mortified that something I gave him for Christmas was broken right out of the package! Cheaply put together. Also, if you are expecting the wood to be finished with any kind of lacquer or shine, it's not. It's just a plain piece of wood sort of glued to a metal clip.

The tie clips look great and get lots of compliments. They are shipped in a nice looking display/gift box. The three colors are pretty accurate in the photo and one of them will coordinate with most of my dress clothes. Like anther reviewer said they arrived broken with the wood separated from the metal clip for me too. I messaged the seller (MensBodega) and they sent me a second set without any hassle. The second set is to be holding up fine.

All of the tie clips had the wood either slightly off center, crooked, or it wasn’t even a rectangular piece. If you get them be sure you don’t need them immediately so you have some time to sand them down a bit.

These are more or less junk as the wooden façade has popped off of 3 of the 6 I ordered. If you do purchase these, do yourself a favor and just tear the façade off the metal clip preemptively and superglue them on yourself properly. When the first one came off, I didn’t think much of it. When the second came off, I was a little frustrated. Now, the third popped off on my walk from the car to work, so I’ll have to look for it on the way home.I should add that if you’re thinking of ordering the bamboo wood grain version of these clips, please consider how that styling will work with the patterns on your tie. A busy clip and a busy tie tend to clash a bit, which I realized after purchasing.

I was using them to make my own custom tie clips. best for the pricethese are still available to order on walmart websitethe Brown one is not as rich of a brown as the picture. it is a little bit more grey-ish like a dead tree.

I bought these as a gift for my husband. He loves them and has gotten multiple compliments. He likes to wear things that stand out or are unusual in some way, yet he strives to dress in a way that does not "rock the boat" in his conservative office. These elegant tie clips balanced those two concerns quite well. Recommended.

These tie bar clips are different enough to catch the eye without being overstated. They are also classy, making them a fantastic gift.
