We love it. It doesn’t cure the cough but definitely helps make it less. And the taste is horrible but I think kid’s medicine should taste bad so they don’t try to get into it. But it’s a good lesson to teach your children that sometimes we have to do hard things like take medicine that doesn’t taste well.

So my little has been using zarbees since she was an infant (she’s three now; almost four). She has reactive airway disease and often is inflicted with a bad cough especially around spring and summer time. Zarbees was fine and worked well but Maty’s has several ingredients that improve overall health that zarbees does not have.I will say my little prefers the taste of Zarbees. I imagine it is the ginger and clove that she is not a fan of, but she will still drink it. It works super fast and well as an expectorant. She immediately starts coughing up the gunk in her throat after taking it and the honey soothes. Just a great natural product that I love and trust.My only complaint is that if you don’t wipe the top bottle off after pouring some out it will drip even after you put the lid back on. And I worry that when we travel the lid will not stay secure. We have traveled with it in the past on a road trip and it was a pain. My suggestion to the company would be to please make the lid a child safety lock and make the top not as wide.

It's quite thick and the container is plastic. But it soothes my kids cough. Just had to shake it, and put a little more honey for my picky kids, so it's easier for them to swallow.

Unfortunately this didn't work for us. The flavor of both made my kid vomit. But I'm very impressed with Matys. They called to ask about the reaction and had some questions. You can tell they want to have a good product.

We bought this along with a few other cough medicines when our kids had a horrible cough. We liked this because of the natural ingredients and tried it out. It of course didn't get rid of the cough but it definitely alleviated it. Now its one of the staples in our medicine cabinet. I will say the only down side, is the taste isnt the greatest. But when you are coughing up a storm, taste is the last thing you care about.

Love that this is a natural cough syrup, hate that it tastes so awful. Wish they would have added something(maybe some elderberry?) into it to not make it taste so terrible. After all, we wants KIDS to take this medicine.I couldn’t even get my daughter to swallow the daytime one - she put in her mouth and immediately spit it out and started gagging. I assumed she was being an overly dramatic 6 yr old so I took some, and it was in fact gross. I kept it because it did seem to help me with a cough and I’m able to choke it down, but I will not be purchasing this again.

The product arrived damaged. I really needed this as my child is sick. To my shock you aren’t even able to process a replacement on these or ask for a refund! I had to email Matys directly and reach out to Amazon to step in. I won’t purchase from this seller again. I will look elsewhere where. The seals of both bottles are compromised.
