This is the best price for use to block loriope rhizomes. My neighbor just planted loriope (invasive) grass right next to to my lawn! This DOES require you dig a 2 foot trench in order to sink it properly. Frustratingly I had to put this barrier in to save my lawn from invasion.

I installed the 80mm, 200' roll 36" high buried 34" into the ground with a 2" exposed top. So far, it's working great with no sign of bamboo. Rainy season has just started - this will be the true test. Installation was easy. Digging the trench wasn't much fun but if this becomes a permanent solution for the bamboo invasion it was worth it. I'll repost if it fails. So far, I recommend this product.

Easy to put into place. Thickness great for our purposes. Fit the space and looks like great quality for intended use. Cost acceptable.

Bought this, hoping I could leave about 6 to 8 inches above ground to divert water from going under my house. I really don’t know what people use to dig a straight line in the dirt or if they simply dig a hole and put it straight down. It might work for roots, but for what I was trying to use it for it’s too thin.

Had a flooding issues and used this product for water barrier/reroute the water coming in my yard. Buried 6 inches deep and screwed to fence. Product is pretty strong and flexible. Even dealing with 100ft roll alone

The quality seems to be good and easily unrolls - not fighting it as you unroll. Punctures fairly easy. I used it for an existing running bamboo patch. I trenched around the patch and tried to remove any protruding rhizome and roots to prevent puncture. Was heavy at first. I suspect the 200 or 300' rolls would be very difficult to maneuver. However If I was to do it again I would go with a thicker then 40 ml, probably minimum of 60. Shipping was bad only rapped in shrink wrap. Had puncture/scrape that ruin about 10' of each roll.

I had a bamboo intrusion problem in the back of my yard. I had a 2 fool by 1 foot trench dug along the back of the yard. Then placed the Deeproot 24-inch shield in the trench and filled it with construction rocks. All the bamboo can be enjoyed without intruding in my yard. Great!

12 years ago after the wife planted bamboo which she didn’t contain became an expensive problem. This barrier was dug in over 12 months ago, jointed with the barrier tape as per instructions and apart from the odd bit of bamboo ‘sneaking’ over the top, it’s doing exactly what’s needed. Wish this barrier was done prior to planting as it’s been very expensive to rectify (£11k to rectify). Digging a trench, folding the ends of this barrier to ‘lock on itself’ and taping each overlapping end around established bamboo is hard work. Can’t fault this so far.
