Exactly what I needed to sharpen knives accurately. It holds knives tightly with no damage. The adjustable angle handle is a much-needed feature.

These guides work well with one exception. The screws that tighten the knife etc protrude far enough to hit the wheel when sharpening. Only effective one side and can be easily replaced at a local hardware store with a low profile screw.

We use our knives hard as we are foodies who butcher & cook from scratch.I always receive and appreciate his warning " be careful, the knives have been sharpened."

Price is right good quality

There made well. I did have to turn down the one screw on the knife guide so when you turn it over to grind the opposite side of the knife blade, the knob doesn't hit. Not a big deal for me as I have a mini lathe. For the money you can't beat it.

I mistakenly mentioned this in my review for the WEN 10" sharpener but it actually belongs here.Good set of accessories for the money. I think a necessary product improvement is to add another thumb screw to the tool rest. It has a tendency to slip and you lose your sharpening angle. The manufacturer should give it two from the get go. It comes with one in the center so I just drilled and tapped two new holes on the ends and re-tapped the center one so I could use the same thumb screw on all three. It's solid as a rock now.
