There is a lot to like about this soap. The smell is rather strong, how I like it, and all the better to repel insects.I purchased another one for this bug season, very happy with it. And I tried a few other Sally Ander items like the insect repellent cream and under eye moisturizer stick. I like it all!

Love this soap! First found it at a garden center & I've purchased multiple times, first time before my sons left on a camping trip in an area known for mosquitos. I believe it helps keep away bugs, but bugs like me, so I use the balm by this same company & do other things too. Pleasant herbal smell & leaves skin feeling good.

Lathered well and actually smells great. Worked fine the couple times I used it for outdoor projects. A bit pricey but plan to purchase again.

I have buying this soap from various online seller for years since we live on a ravine and have tons of bugs. The soap still has the same great smell as it always has and it does clean the body well as a soap should, but I am wondering if something has changed in the formulation because with regard to helping keep bugs away because this recent bar I got did not work for me at all. I only purchase 1 bar every year because there is only a certain sector of time in the summer when the bugs are really bad and I needed this soap, then was able to switch back to regular soap. This issue with this soap started with the bar I bought last year. That bar did not work as well as previous years, and I kind of let it go thinking well maybe the bugs were worse or something. But this year I was hardly outside at all due to the virus, and when I got my bar this years and started using it, it did not keep any bugs away and I got bit up really bad. I mean, it was terrible. So much so that it seemed after using this soap the bugs came after me even more. This is such a big disappointment for me because I loved this soap. I loved the generous size of the bar, the smell, the texture, everything. So I'm giving it 3 stars because it is still excellent for cleaning the body, but for me it no longer keeps the bugs away.

Soap lathers well and cream combo seems to be keeping the bugs away from me while I spend much time in the garden!

I live in Florida. We have mosquitoes for about half the year. Since I’ve started using this soap in the last 2 years I’ve only had maybe a couple of bites. It’s really amazing.
