Just What I Needed. But $$.
This product arrived just as described and fit the shade well. It has a very sturdy feel, but not much "stretch," so use care in putting in on your shade.My only complaint would be the price. It's a bit high for just a simple piece of plastic.However, as I've had a VERY hard time locating this item in retail stores, I had to purchase it online.

Easy to install
I ordered a roller shade which arrived. I had expected a pull cord. I was not aware that pull cords are illegal in California so I got one on eBay and got this grip so I could attach the pull cord. It works! I recommend this product.

Protects your shade from grubby fingers
I ordered a white cloth cordless roller shade, that unbelievably, came without a hem grip. After searching the box stores unsuccessfully for this item, I found this on Amazon. It is very sturdy. I read the reviews about breakage, and I don't think I'll have that problem. It did take two of us to install it, one to hold the hem steady and one person to slide it on. If you try forcing it on as a clip, I could see where it might break, as it is very rigid plastic with no flex to it. It is a 5 star product, reduced to 4 stars due to the price. This product honestly shouldn't cost more than five dollars.

Complete garbage.
Split half after a couple of pulls if the shade. Carefully installed per the instructions and at first seemed to fit good on the shade bar and broke in half in two separate shades after a couple of light and normal pulls of the shade. A total rip-off and especially at the price. Cheap snappy plastic is the best way I can put it. Avoid.

A small touch that is huge in use
Do you remember those paper window shades? Well, they still do sell them-go to your local big-box lumber/garden/hardware store. What they don't sell are these indispensable finishing touches. This seller delivered a thoughtfully-packaged item in lightning speed, and it has proven to be of highest quality. Just perfect.

Works well, just hold tight, pull straight up or down.
Have to grip and hold tight. They come off of shade easily.
