Lodge 8.38 in Cast Iron Round Griddle, Black

Great product! I just wish I could order a larger version!

Ok, so I'm not the outdoorsy, woodsy, camper type. I wanted this small griddle simply to toast up my 6 in organic corn tortilla for my morning egg. I previously bought another cheaper one, never even used it because after I washed it up for the 1st use, it rusted! It went back. This one is great, I can see why it would last a life time. The handle does get hot, but I have this silicone finger mitt that works great with it. It was kind of pricey but I guess you get what you pay for!

Can't beat Lodge.

This is my go-to comal for making homemade corn tortillas. Excellent even heating and very energy efficient because you're not using the same amount of energy to heat up an entire 12 in frying pan. It even works great on my induction cooker due to its iron composition. I have many Lodge products and have never had any regrets buying any of them. The quailty is consistently good with this brand.

We love it for a quick grilled cheese sandwich. Plus, 8” tortillas fit so nicely. I leave it on the top of my stove for a quick sandwich or quesadilla.

Lodge manufactures this cast iron griddle which should last through generations.I have prepared pancakes, pork chops, and hamburger steak on this small griddle since purchasing it several weeks ago.It has been preseasoned for you. All you need to do is take it from the box, wash and dry the griddle and lightly rub the cooking surface with cooking oil. It’s ready then for cooking. It’s small enough to store easily or leave it out in a handy place for easy access.If you are cooking for one, this could be good for you or you might want to go up to a little larger griddle.I love Lodge cast iron skillets and griddles.
