Ignatius' relationship with women in his own hand
Bought as a gift. I had previously purchased this for myself. Ignatius was known to have good relationships with women, ostensibly women whose counsel he appreciated. He wrote letters prolifically throughout his life, including to women. Hugo Rahner's insights throughout are a welcome assist to understanding the context within which the letters were written by Ignatius. On occasion, the reader has to remind herself in which century these letters were written! That aside, there is so much written about St. Ignatius, that I appreciated reading these letters as he wrote them.

Letters To Women
Today new books seem to be coming out of the wood work on spirituality. Whether authors and or publishers have found an awakened market, they have discovered there is money to be made in them their hills. If you are a serious traveler on the spiritual trail, you would not go wrong with a modern interpretion of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. It is best read quickly, wait a few weeks and then go back and read it again slowly for the best possible benefit. A great book to share with close friends.
