Let me start by saying my dog hates this but allows me to use it on her, next I charged this in 2021 when I bought it. Now it sits in a drawer until use but I have NEVER had to charge it again it is around 56% charge and has been in the same spot used occasionally and still doesn’t die. It’s 2024 which means for 3+ years this thing has held a charge without being plugged in. That alone makes this worth it to me.

I have a English bulldog and their nails grow so fast. The dog in the past is afraid of nail cutter and I think it hurts them. I went online looking for a nail grinder and found this. This little thing is powerful enough to instantly file down the nail. It features a PRO button to have more power if needed also. I like to do it one nail every so often because the motor noise really spook my dog. Battery last long, I have yet to charge it since deliverer. Not bad price, overall great value and gets the job done.

My 60 lb pit/rottie does NOT allow me to trim her nails. I usually have to take her in to the vet, & even then they just do what they can. Her nails are black, so we're not able to see the quick easily. My girl gives them just as hard of a time as she does me.But with this grinder she'll finally lay there while I use it. Mind you..she doesn't stay for very long...but a huge improvement, & I can actually trim them a little here & there on my own. The grinder obviously makes a noise, but its not loud enough to spook her or make her too nervous. So far the charge has held great. Its heavier than I expected, which feels like a good quality & makes using it easier & feels more stable in my hand then a lighter one would.This doesn't file very much at a time though. A heavier/coarser file would be better for medium & large breed dog nails. I only get one nail done at a time bcuz of this, before she's had enough (prob about a min or two at a time). If you have a dog that already doesn't mind getting nails cut very much, or a very small breed dog, or a cat, then this will work better for you.

Worked great but it wouldbt turn off until the battery died. Contact the company it turns out we had a defective one. They reimbursed us. Customer service was great. Would be 4 stars if it would have turned off properly.

Petural Dog Nail Grinder Is easy to use, didn’t scare the dogs as it makes a low noise. I found grooming the rescue pups nails really easy and will never go back to cutting their nails when this makes it as easy as just putting the nail in the one of three size attachments and it does the work. Good product.

Used x5 times or less and the bit is dull and useless. Waste of money

My dog is a little skiddish when it comes to trimming nails and with this she just layed there and didn't even notice anything going on! So that is 5 stars in my book! Noise level it is so quiet just makes a little hum when it files but nothing that seemed to bother my dog.

I got this because I have a kitten with sharp claws and she likes to utilize them. When I read the other reviews, they made it sound so easy. Not so much. It takes a really long time, as it doesn't grind the nails down very fast, and as anyone with an animal can tell you, holding them down for any significant amount of time is not a good idea. It was a bad experience for the kitten and for us. Not worth the trouble to send it back, but I probably won't use it again. I definitely do NOT recommend
