Stop using your heavy torque wrench for small, light torquing!
Excellent product, and a perfect supplement to my larger manual torque wrench. That's for heavy torque jobs, and this is perfect for the smaller, lighter work.

Good range- Covers all low torque fastners on my car.
This reviewv is for AC Delco 3/8 inch torque adaptor. The range is 3- 59 ft-lb.The adaptor came with a calibration sheet which gave me confidence regarding the accuracy. I also checked it's reading against my click type torque wrench and they do agree well. This adaptor goes as low as 3 ft-lb which means it covers the lowest torque fasteners on my car. My spark plugs require 12-14 ft-lb and it is covered. Some 10 mm bolts on aluminium parts call for 6 ft-lb which are also covered. On the high end, the maximum 59 ft-lb covers 99% fasteners on my car. This adptor cannot be used for high torque bolts, such as, the wheel lugs (79 ft-lb), 19 mm engine body brace bolts (134 ft-lb), can shaft timing pulleys (94 ft-lb), generator pulley (81 ft-lb). Many suspension fasteners are also outside the range for this adptor. Most brake fasteners are within range; however, if you want to replace the rotor, the the hub bolts are outside the range at 79 ft-lb.In summary, you cannot find a digital torque adaptor or a torque wrench that can cover all the fastners around the car. However, the good thing about this adptor it covers as low as 3 ft-lb which will take care of all the low torque fastners. For high torque fastners, I use the adptor to calibrate/check my high torque wrench at 50 ft-lb, then I use my high torque wrench.

Saved the day
We were working on replacing our motorcycle clutch and none of the torque wrenches we have/borrowed would work in the range we needed e.g. 7-9 ft-lb. We over-did it and broke a bolt in the clutch basket which set us back. We compared ACDelco and other competitors product and decide to go with a name brand for reliability reason. We don't want to waste time playing with cheaper brand and get frustrated. It turned out to be good decision. We were able to set it down to the decimal point and put together the clutch in no time and with confidence. The motorcycle runs great now. Very happy with the product.

Nice Torque Adapter for Lower Readings.
Like many people of my generation I have a larger click-type torque wrench that goes to 150 lb-ft of torque. It starts at 20 lb-ft so it is not well suited to small fasteners like 1/4-20 or -28 which need closer to 10 lb-ft. This load cell does the job quite well. I don't use it often enough to remember which buttons to push to get the settings and mode I need. However, the controls are intuitive enough that you can figure them out within a couple of minutes even without the instructions. The one complaint I have is how the unit is represented. The listing says it goes to 59 lb-ft of torque. It does... but if I am remembering this correctly, you cannot set the upper limit "warning beep" above 50 lb-ft. What does this mean? If you need 55 lb-ft you can only set the warning buzzer to come on at 50 lb-ft after which you have to watch the display to ease up to 55. Failing that... get out your larger torque wrench when you get to levels that high. (50 lb-ft feels like a lot on this unit anyway since it is only 3/8" drive). The maker is proud enough of the product that they ship it with a calibration record. I took this to work and compared its readings to our torque wrench calibrators. It was accurate within a couple of percent. For the purists out there, yes... the name says AC Delco. However, it is branded under their license by a third party who makes the tool. As of Spring 2014 there were YouTube videos that mention that in their product review. It is also apparent on the instructions that come with the tool.Overall, you will not be disappointed with this tool as long as you have a heavy torque wrench to take over once you need more than 50 lb-ft.

Great for what it is. Honestly this is all you need.
This is way better than click type torque wrenches you won’t regret buying this.

Awesome
A great device that provides flexibility with different tools. Wish I had bought this 20 years ago. While the setup is a little confusing, this tool does exactly what you need it to do! The fact that it can measure smaller torques is also helpful.

Great Calibration Tool
I used this tool to calibrate five micrometer click-style torque wrenches, 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" drives (using step-up/down adapters to fit in the device). Only one wrench (Tekton) was spot-on. All others (Proto, Craftsman, and Schwaben) were off by a couple of lbs. However, they were very consistently off by the same amount after multiple tests. Rather than adjusting the internals of the wrenches, I just marked them with a sticker to remind myself whether to set the torque higher or lower than the desired target. I will probably get the higher torque range 1/2-inch drive AC-Delco digital meter to confirm the calibration of the higher torque ranges of my larger wrenches. The initial set-up of the device from Nm to Lb/ft and from Peak to Track using the push-and-hold buttons was a bit fiddly, but that was just a three- or four-minute thing following the written instructions, after which the device worked very much as hoped.
