How does it fit a cat?
I saw most of the reviews were for dogs, so I wasn't sure if this coat would work for a cat. My cat loves being outside but seemed to be getting sniffles after longer sessions on these colder days, so I wanted something that could supplement her natural coat and allow her to enjoy a little longer outside in the backyard doing her thing. (I absolutely would NOT put it on a cat that would leave your property and if you would be gone and not able to monitor things. The cat could work their way into an odd position in the coat and it could become a hazzard!) I bought the XS for her. She's not a tiny or larger cat (this XS would not fit a small cat properly, and a larger cat would probably need a S), but a pretty average-sized, full-grown cat with long hair. The coat fits her pretty well, but her longer hair sometimes makes it a little hard to maneuver around finding the fasteners—no fault of the coat design, however. I found that I needed to adjust the velcro neck strap so it wasn't too loose (certainly not too tight either!) or she pulls a Houdini move eventually and can ditch the coat without popping a snap! Honestly, she really doesn't like the coat at this point (Day 2)—she's a cat and it feels very unnatural (if you have a cat, you KNOW what I mean). She usually spends a while backing up in it trying the think of a way to get it OFF! I've been doing short, 5-10 minute sessions with her in it so she isn't miserable as she gets used to it, and so I can also see that she's safe and things are adjusted ok. I don't want her to get a paw stuck somewhere in the neck or something while she's trying to escape it! But the second session a day later went better than the first day and I think she will get used to it and I'll figure out how to adjust it well enough. As to the coat itself, it seems to be very well made and is very cute! She looks "sporty" in her jacket like she's ready to hit the slopes! It won't impede her in taking care of her business—plenty of clearance around all that, but still fairly covering to her back for warmth. The coat also has opportunity for adjustments with two levels of snaps around the body and Velcro at the neck band that you can adjust. The coat covers her well, but for a cat, the front arm holes seem a bit more awkward how they hit her body (the openings seem to come too low and ideally should open up a bit higher). I may need to watch that—she walks a little irregularly because of that. I think a cat's body is a bit different shape than a dog in these areas even if they are about the same size. But it seems doable and I can't find fault with the little coat that was really designed for dogs. I roll the neck down because it pushes into her head awkwardly if I don't, but works just fine rolled down. I love the jacket liner that can be added or removed depending on the level of warmth needed. It may be a little too snug for her to add the liner (sometimes her long hair makes this harder to judge if there is adequate room). One thing I like about this is that it's pretty easy to put on with little trauma to her. No pulling some sleeve-type thing over her head on like some coats. You put the right paw in the arm hole while the jacket lays on the ground, then slip it around the body and snap/Velcro it to fit. She doesn't seem too freaked out by it considering there's a lot of freakout potential with putting clothing on a cat! I rate the coat very highly—especially for a dog! I was impressed with the construction and the fun details. It even has two little fake zipper pockets on the back that make it feel like a people jacket. It looks easily washable to maintain. I highly recommend it! But do measure your fur person carefully because this really matters with the fit!

Serves the purpose. Exterior is good protection from rain.

She loves it!
Our pug surprisingly fit into a large. I was worried but the duel snaps make the fit perfect, a bit longer in the behind but it works. It’s nice to be warm and dry from rain. Great product and highly recommended.

Works for one dog. Too small for the other.
I bought other outfits for my dog before and they weren’t quite right. This one fits perfectly AND the opening to hook the leash is in just the right spot for the harness we use! Also it’s easy to put on. I refuse to buy jackets that button or zip on the bottom. They’re too hard to put on.I love how this jacket works for different kinds of weather and doubles as a raincoat. It covers the belly area which is great because my 6 pound dog gets her belly wet from the grass.I do have a slightly thicker jacket for when the weather falls below 0.I like how the hood rolls up. Bonus points for being super cute. Im buying a second one for my other dog now that he has stopped growing!I got XS for my 6 pounder. And I’m going to get S for my 10 pounder.Edited to add:I got the S for my other dog and it has a couple minor problems. There are threads sticking out everywhere. But most importantly the middle section was sewn on the very edge of the Velcro piece making one arm hole way bigger than the other one. And as a result the corner of the middle section sticks out of one of the armholes when the coat is worn. It’s hard to describe. I restitched it and it’s fine now. But the front area that velcros over the chest is too tight. Maybe he needs a different size. But the rest of the jacket seems to fit perfectly. I can’t return or exchange it since I altered it.

Cattle dog prepping for winter and rain
The media could not be loaded. **updated**I really want to like this coat but the front doesn't provide enough velcro for the measurements given. It also is off balanced due to the velcro bit, of you are into sewing, you can fix this. The pockets aren't real, if they were, that would have been a bonus. I recently tested it in a down pour of rain and at some point the water did penetrate which defeats the purpose for my purchase. It can tolerate light rain and some snow play but, not heavy rain or long play (no 20mins+) in the rain. Those are my negatives. As for the positives, this is a great jacket for the price. I honestly expected a smaller fit, thinner fabric, or less quality. The color is just like in the picture. So is the style. The under layer for colder seasons is soft and comfortable, I do like that they at least included 2 adjustable snaps. Pretty easy to get on your dog. It isn't bulky like some other ones where your dog may struggle with adjusting to the coat due to puffiness. It wouldn't be bad to use as a cold weather coat only. I don't reccomend as a rain coat.I will probably try to tweak this jacket and try to fix it myself. I don't know if mine is defective or if they are all like this but I like it enough to try and get crafty and keep it.Would I recommend it, yes? If you are OCD then no lol. Hope my video and review helps :)

Great Jacket but sizes are rubbish!
Jackets great, made of really strong material and the detractable fleece is an added bonus. I had to get an XL large for my Jack Russell Cross due to him being very long in the body. It's a bit shorter on the length than I'd hoped and stops just before his bum. The hood doesn't really fit him either unless he keeps his head down. Definately more suited to smaller breeds....not medium to large breeds!

Very good product. M size (Lhasa Apso 10Kg)
This is Very good product. I bought M size, but the adjust is very good so If I had L it would be good too.It protects my dog from the neck to tail and also the chest. The only thing is that the hood doesn't fits in her head, maybe if I had brought L size would. It doesn't make a "whoosh whoosh" sound and she was not bother using it (and she is bother by everything.)The only thing is that should have something to attach the leash on, I had to put another over it so I could attach the leash. But is very good, procts from rain and is good for cold too.

Not the best
No chance of the hood staying up and the buttons on the collar to keep the hood folded away are missing even though they are on the actual hood. The finish of the product isn't great and the outer part of the coat seems a bit smaller than the measurements on the chart with the detachable fleece lining being too big for the outer, it seems like they have labeld a medium outer coat and put it with a large fleece lining, even the length which for the size i ordered should have been reached halfway down her tail only really covers 3 quarters of her back. I purposely ordered a coat which should have been slightly too big as she is still growing but I doubt that this will still fit her in a month

Warm coat for dogs
My dog is usually large however I needed to get XL but still a little short around his neck/chest. Unfortunately there wasn’t a bigger size so had to get another one from somewhere else but have kept other two for spares to keep small doggie friends warm and dry.

Well designed
This winter waterproof jacket has a lot of advantages. The poppers are a fantastic idea. The removable lining is very useful. The two lines of poppers makes it adjustable to fit your dogs size. The only downside is the velcro at the front, but, that is only a slight problem.
