Love this little thing. Works great for greasing, basting. Heat resistant, cleans easy. Just bought another one for back- up.

Inexpensive black rubber silly con.Haven't tested for heat resistance because I'm not a test kitchen and don't want to have to replace in case of failure.

bristles started braking off.
Lost a few bristles after a few week or month of intensive use. Also would have been nice if it was slightly larger. I can't really complain though, it was use a LOT, and wasn't used gently. The total usage before any bristles were lost was 1000 dip and spreads; was used every day 10-20 times, multiple dips and spreads needed for sheets of biscuits, with one washing with hands when finished.

This was exactly what I needed. I use it for bbqs that was my kids can help with the bbq sauce.
