I purchased this for my man. His beard is great but a bit untamed.It is a perfect size. Has plenty of heat settings. Most of all it works GREAT!

Takes a minute to heat-up on highest setting (3 levels of heat-up), after that it straightens hair in about 4 combs, very useful and snazzy design, only problem is some hair will get caught in it - easy to remove

I usually use a hair dryer to blow out my beard. But my wife works grave shifts in the ICU, so I needed a quieter solution to straighten my chaotic beard hair. I found this straightener here on Amazon. As it was on sale, I had to jump. The reviews were good, so why not?Yes, it's ridiculously quiet. I thought there might be some kind of light air blowing function, but nope. It's just a heated brush. My beard isn't super long at the moment, but my chin's beard hair is about 2-inches. The problem I have is how loose the brush is. I've found that I have to use a comb in conjunction with this straightener to get the end results I want as the heated brush doesn't offer fine gaps between the bristles to encourage straigtening.The base of the bristles also get really hot. In trying to find a way to get this to straighten my beard better with this tool, I accidentally touched my bottom lip to the side of the heating element, just beneath the bristles which then burned my lip. Lesson learned. So I now just use a comb with this straightener to get the job done. It doesn't do as good of a job as a hair dryer and comb does for me. But it is quiet, gets plenty hot, and doesn't wake my wife. So that's a perk.

Know more scraggly beard for this guy. Leave my long beard nice and soft super simple to use I leave in my truck and brush away on my trek to work everyday small enough to fit in my center console.

Been using this for awhile now and I love it. Heats up quick, easy to use, straightend the beard better than any others I've used. Really nice quality product.

I purchased this as a gift for my thick bearded man. He loves it. It works well enough to get through the coarse hair & straighten, shape it how he likes it. Would definitely purchase again for my sons.

When this works, it's great. Unfortunately I think there's an issue with wiring on the part of the power cord that connects to the brush (I don't know the technical terms). It fully rotates and I think it eventually loosens the wires.I've bought two so far. This first lasted about three months. With the second I was very careful on how the power cord rotated and it lasted 7 months.I'm assuming I could open it up and fix the problem, but I don't have those skills.Fair warning, it does get very hot, so don't use it until your beard is dry, because you'll eventually burn your face.As far as straightening the beard, it's amazing. My beard is slightly wavey, so when it gets over a couple inches in length it can start looking like a mess. This product exceeded my expectations on functionality.Five stars if there weren't power issues.

My beard is very thick and curly. Everything that I have tried in the past to tame my crazy curly beard always ended in disappointment, until now. After washing my beard with the beard shampoo and conditioner I used the heated comb and couldn't believe how straight my beard got. My beard looks great, isn't itchy, and is very soft. I highly recommend these products, but especially the comb.
