Game of Thrones Hand of The King 3" Pin

This is slightly smaller than that prop that the show used and its made of a softer metal so be sure its secured on wherever you pin it id recommend it as a fun gift or cosplay item. The metal is really bendy on the sword part so like i said use caution. Overall 5/5

Bought this for my boyfriend as a Xmas present and he loves it. He wore it on his coat for the remainder of winter and now wears it on the strap of a messenger bag. Never had problems with it coming unclasped nor has there been any issues with the blade bending. I imagine if you are rough or careless with it, it will, but with novelty items like this it's obvious that you should take extra care. Great details on it and while it is smaller than the size of the one seen on the show, it is still a nice size and a good addition to and GOT/ASOIAF fans.

(1 star) How durabe is this toy? (2 stars) How do you rate this toy overall? (4 stars)"Huh. Didn't really think of this as a toy. To my mind it was a collectable only. Imagining it being used as a toy amuses me. Anyway, since there is no educational intent for this item, I rated that part low, but I don't hate it.Anyway, the item is a cheap plastic replica with a tie-pin style backing. I use the word "cheap" meaning less expensive than metal, not meaning something derogatory like "crap." The material is molded, colored plastic. The surface is unpainted. Also important if you expect to get something showing the dark details the picture seems to indicate. Anyone with experience in painting miniatures can likely give it that real, aged metal look - but it comes in a uniform color.A real pin of this design would have the point on the bottom as the pin that goes through clothing and the hand and ring sort of clip the material - like the show demonstrates. This does not because it's a surface-detail replica - as opposed to a functional replica.Mine came out of the box perfectly straight, but I could tell the material is pliable, so it could bend and in reading other reviews apparently some have. I also presume it could snap off if bent enough.I gave it 4 stars overall because I like it and it's almost exactly what I really want - which is a replica to display demonstrating my fandom for the show. If I wanted something durable to wear to a Ren Fest, I seriously doubt I would have gotten it for the price I paid or manufactured by HBO/Dark Horse comics.

I got this for my boyfriend for an anniversary gift. He loved it. I told him that the sword could bend, so he was very careful with it. He uses it on his collar, and it looks great. The pinning part has held fast so far (about 2 months) without sign of letting go. If you're careful with the sword part (which is obviously a weak point), it's a great pin that has held up through many wearings. Glad I bought it!

I got married on NYE 2015. I bought this for my best man more as a gesture, being my right hand, than an accessory for the night. We found that it looked very sharp against our Charcoal Tuxes, and my wife allowed him to wear it throughout the night. I was very pleased with the look of this pin. The pin back was a little bulky for a lapel, but that is the extent of my complaints. It was money well spent.

I received the pin last friday and was surprised to see that the point was bended. When trying to set it right again, i found it to be VERY soft and easily bendable. That's not good for the pin itself because the point is very large relatively to the size of the whole pin. I bought it with the idea of using it pinned to my clothes, but will not be doing that since it may break.I'll just keep it as a collectible.

I bought this as a huge fan of GOT. My son is as well...and that was the last I saw of that one. Nicely crafted. Not as sturdy as could have been made, but to wear as a pin, it holds up just fine.Of all the merchandise a show like GOT can put out there, this is a classy, understated, bit of shows essence. Wearing this, only other GOT freaks will recognize you're being HOK. Nicely sculpted and distressed!

Love the show - the design of the HAND'S pin is impeccable - but the dang thing is so FRAGILE.The point coming from the hand facing down can be bent at the slightest touch - a sad thing to have to worry if it was bent just by moving around.The pin in the back - SNAPPED OFF - after having it pinned on for an hour or so, my little boy wanted to see it - grabbed it and it BROKE.Just too soft a metal - but if you want to just display it in the box it comes in - sure - but you'll never BE the HAND OF THE KING!
