If you really want to see a concert by Paul whithout, zooms, interruptions of talking heads, images of war, buy this. This the complete edition of CANADA CONCERT 2009 filmed by MPL. There are another concerts filmed by MPL for promotion purposes like Madrid 2004 or Charlotte 1993, get them, are much better than the oficial dvds.

Brilliant. No talking head or distractions on the DVD. McCartney and the Band doing what they do best. Music quality also excellent and really pleased I have this among my collection.

Lovely clear pictures; but not enough audience reactions on it!

My son loves watching these every morning while we were in Mexico. I couldn't find a copy in any of the local music stores but was excited to get a copy from Amazon! It's our favourite show to watch together!!

Que dire avec peu de mots : ce concert est EXCELLENT , donné le 11 Juillet 2009 à Halifax au Canada ,en Nouvelle Ecosse ,il a rassemblé une foule énorme de fans une " nuit d'été " dans la verdure ,concert gratuit ! pas les prix du Stade de France en ...2015 !Au total 34 titres , concert complet , SANS documentaire comme sur la plupart des dvds officiels de Paul : il dure 2h 30 minutes , la set list est très variée : bien sûr beaucoup de " classiques " des Beatles écrits par Paul ,pas la peine de les citer ,tout le monde les connait !MAIS des titres récents joués peu souvent comme 3 titres de l'excellent " Electric Arguments " sorti en 2008: le single " Sing the changes " ,meilleur en LIVE qu 'en studio ,version " aérienne " ,le ROCK superbe " Only Mama Knows " de Memory almost full ,le ROCK " Highway " , la superbe ballade" Calico skies " ,pas jouée souvent ,le single " MULL OF KINTYRE " ,joué que dans les pays celtiques ( Ecosse ,Irlande ,Québec ....) jamais à Paris !! dommage on a " michelle " à la place !les ROCKS " I ' ve got a feeling " qui dure 7 minutes 38' ,Day tripper ,Paperback writer ,drive my car ,Got to get you into my life , toujours magique ,Back in USSR , Lady Madonna ,Helter Skelter ,Get Back ,Sergent Pepper /the end en final .les ROCK des wings " Jet " ,"Band on the run " ," Let me roll it " complété par le titre de Jimmy Hendrix " Foxy Lady " où Paul et les 2 guitaristes s'en donnent à coeur joie !Concert donc PARFAIT , " nature " ,pris sur le vif ,dans l'ordre ,sans montage !

I've seen this DVD offered on Amazon and EBay for some time .It's a video of Paul and his current band in Halifa Nova Scotia playing an outdoor concert. Because there have been no reviews, and not looking like an official release, thinking it would be an boot leg film from the crowd, I've held off buyng it. Recently I decided beause the price was good, to take a chance on it. I'm glad I did. The camera work is excellent and the audio very good. The camera pans from Paul, to the band, to the crowd in a nice even order. There are good close ups of eveyone without those jumpy shots that sometimes make you sick. There are 34 songs played in entirety, reminding me of the last concert I saw Paul play almost two years ago. It's not Blue Ray, but I ejoyed the quality of both picture and sound, and am very glad to now have this in my McCartney collection. If you're a McCartney fan, I recommend adding this DVD to your collection too. I wish I had done so a few years ago. Now that you finally have a review, go buy it! Makes me wish I could go to a McCartney concert right now.

Ero curioso di vedere un concerto di Paul tratto dallo stesso tour che ci aveva portato "Good Evening New York City". Temevo che una release ufficiale come quella avrebbe potuto immancabilmente celare qualche difetto sonoro o vocale della diretta con trucchi elettronici e rimissaggi in studio. Poi su Amazon ho finalmente trovato questo dvd semi-bootleg che ha pienamente fugato ogni dubbio: Macca e' sempre in forma "as nature intended" e non ci sono differenze tra le sue performances live non ufficiali e quelle piu' edulcorate edite dalla MPL! Questo DVD in particolare merita di essere acquistato in toto, non fosse altro che per la commovente versione live di "Mull Of Kintyre" cantata e suonata insieme a un vero gruppo musicale scozzese con tanto di kilt e cornamuse. Consigliatissimo per la vostra collezione fab.

Diese "halboffiziellen" Veröffentlichungen sind ja oft mit Vorsicht zu geniessen, da deren Herkunft in der Regel aus Sekundärquellen stammt (VHS Überspielungen, TV-Aufzeichnungen o.ä.). In diesem Fall wird die Herkunft des Materials sogar angegeben: eine Übertragung eines kanadischen TV Senders. Die Qualität ist sehr gut - Ton (Stereo) und Bild sind auf der Höhe der Zeit und auch auf einem Flat Screen tadellos genießbar. Sogar ohne "Pseudo" Copyright Zeichen. Das Konzert aus dem jahr 2009 wird offenbar vollständig wiedergegeben. Der Bildschnitt ist "TV-kompatibel", d.h. ruhig und angenehm ohne irgendwelchen "künstlerischen" Schnick-Schnack. Das gebotene Repertoire ist für Fans und Neu-Einsteiger gleichermaßen interessant. Die Musikalität von Paul McCartney ist über jeden Zweifel erhaben - der Mann hat wohl noch nie ein schlechtes Konzert gegeben. Wichtigster Mit-Musiker seit 20 Jahren: Paul Wickens (keyb.), wobei da oben eine eingespielte Band spielt, das war bei McCartney aber schon immer so. Ein Beatle braucht sich nicht solistisch zu profilieren :-))...und die "Autogrammszene" spricht für sich selbst...Fazit: kaufen (für wenig Geld) und Spaß haben.
