They were fine for a little while, but if you twist them, the prongs separate sideways so they can come right off whatever they're clipped to. This happened when my dog was pulling on the leash I made her. And this style is supposed to be the safest for dog leads. After a while they split into two pieces and were unusable. I used it to make paracord dog leads, and they were barely big enough.If they won't be spinning at all and they'll just be holding still, it should probably be fine, but I wouldn't trust these to hold anything I cared about. Maybe for clipping a keychain or something.

I don't like the little squirrelly regular clasps for leashes, and thought these would be better, but still squirrelly and still very difficult to open and close. Poor selection on my part and unsatisfactory product!

Ordered these to put on the corners on wire kennels. We foster dogs for our shelter, that means our kennels take a beating and some dogs figure out how to pull the panels apart from each other. These are the perfect size to hold the corners together for extra security. They are not very big but perfect size for my purpose.

This product is not what I expected. It is made of very low quality. I was expecting a larger clip. I was going to use these clips for dog leashes, and the clip is so easy to open without even using the latch to open it I could not in good conscious place it on a dog leash. I only received the latches one week ago, and can not return them. So if you are buying these latches for something other than looks look else where.

Good quality clasps, but still a bit stiff after 2 months if use. Otherwise works very well and honestly better than having it break!

These are slightly bigger than I was hoping for. I use them for dog collar charms. But these are definitely heavy duty and hold up great. Will be ordering more.

Smaller than expected. They’re kinda dinky, not very durable. I pulled one apart with approximately 20# of force.
