AcuRiteNotos 3N1TXC (3-in-1) Wireless Weather Sensor with Wind Speed, Temperature and Humidity

The AcuRite was a replacement for a unit that went bad. All I had to do was put in AA batteries and in a few minutes it Wind Speed, Temperature, and Humidity showed on the indoor unit.

I was skeptical at first, I set it up with my existing unit. It was set to A. Couldn’t get it to work. Did everything, new batteries, nothing. Almost sent it back. Finally I set them both to B, reset my unit and Bamm! Works perfectly now. Saved me about $140 on buying a whole new system

Only Purchase this model of sensor if you have an existing monitor and need to replace the sensor. Accurite does not sell a separate monitor for this model.I cannot comment on quality or accuracy of this sensor but my mistake being unaware of the need for a separate monitor shouldn’t warrant a low review, so… 5 stars.

This was a replacement after 8 years when the wind gauge failed. Easy to install with one screw because of my modular take down 12 foot mast on the roof. Much better improvement in temp and humidity that matches my other sensors within one point or zero point error. Works with my old display on all channels. While here I want to say that the AcuRite rain stand alone gauges are a total failure. Over the years I have had to replace or repair them dozens of times and the man hour lost is a waste. None of them every match. So, I built a rain gauge IAW the NWS model (they cost $80-$125) and used a cheap $10 , 1-7/8 inch glass insert. It works perfect and correct.

Added to rear ladder of travel trailer. Love it. Shows temps and wind. (This is only a replacement item - you will need a display)

Perfect match for the weather station I have. Put the batteries in and it connected quickly.

It was compatible with my base station. If it lasts as long as the one it replaced I will be most happy.

Original died after 5 years...put in the batteries and worked in seconds. Real deal replacement part.
