Baby Monitor for Breathing and Movement (Blue)

I have been using this for over 2 months since the birth of my son. As a new parent I was quite nervous. While this device works very well it does need some improvement.-First off it does not measure breathing, it is an activity monitor. The company removed breathing from the app.-Constant blue tooth disconnects which result in false alarms. (Button and Phone basically have to be in the same room)-Blue led light-need an option to turn this off, wakes baby up multiple from blinking blue light.-Battery has a very short life, I have ordered two of these and half of the batteries were corroded.-Real Time Activity Monitor is a joke, it goes back one minute-Alarm Silencing needs work, 60 seconds snooze is not long enough to do anything. It should just have a pause button.-Activity level should be programmable for high and low activityThis is a True Review, not by someone who was provided the button for free or discounted. Feel free to ask questions.There are 3 different ways to see the battery level. On the dashboard it shows battery level and connection level. It always show that the battery is 100%. Do not trust this. In the setting you will see a battery level to the left. I have found this to be much more accurate than the dashboard.

Great product. Used while our baby was a newborn but switched to a crib sensor under mattress when he was strong enough to roll over and hold his head up. The Monbaby button works great while they r small. I broke the plastic snap ring from forcing over a thick onesie, but the customer support sent two new snap rings and a few batteries for good measure. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

I love MonBaby's design and simplicity. It fits on my baby's clothing very easily and securely, and doesn't seem to bother her. Like my Fitbit, it connects directly to my phone and tells me all the things I want to know like if my baby rolls over and if she is moving around a lot. There are a number of settings and I like the fact that the alarm is very easy to hear. This is a great way to keep an eye on your baby!

Functions properly except for frequent Bluetooth disconnect.The problem I'm having is that the MonBaby disconnects from Bluetooth approximately every 2 hours which results in alarm.While I sleep at night, my android phone (I have also used my wife's android phone) is 4 feet from the MonBaby with no obstructions. The MonBaby disconnects in 2 hours, which causes an alarm waking up me and the baby. The MonBaby then needs to be reconnected and re-calibrated to be used again.I bought this product to help me get more/better sleep, but due to frequent disconnect alarms, this is not the case.I contacted customer support. They recommended changing the battery and disconnecting my home wifi, but there was no improvement.If the problem persists, I will be returning the MonBaby.

It especially brings peace of mind to new parents.Overall, MonBaby is proving to be a great and innovative addition to the market and to the arsenal of any parent who aspires to do everything possible to keep their little ones in a safe and happy environment. MonBaby is the perfect baby monitor. I love that it uses low energy Bluetooth with my iPhone, unlike many other monitors. And because the app is designed to provide alerts based on sleeping position, breathing, and activity, there's no need to check an audio or video feed. It doesn't require anything on your part, but it provides great peace of mind. The clip-on sensor is super easy to use, and the batteries seem to last for a very long time. I highly recommend the MonBaby to anyone looking for a baby monitor, or anyone with a baby period.

The idea is great and sensor works well, but the downfall is the bluetooth connection. Tried multiple devices without wifi interference and had connection issues everytime. Couldn't walk 8ft away from the sensor without connection issues and would have to close out of the app to reconnect.

This product never worked. At most the range was 10 feet. I was told by the manufacturer that the issue was likely interference in my home. I took the monitor into an open area on a nice day away from any buildings or possible interference, and still could not get more than 8 or 10 feet of range. It also produces many false alarms anytime the baby's clothing is not right against his skin.If you look at the reviews closely you will see others had similar issues. The only positive reviews are conflicted by being paid for with product. It's poor policy for Amazon to even allow this. I paid full retail price for this. The only positive is that Amazon was responsive and refunded me.
