I've bought about a dozen of these Chicoligy blinds over the years for different window applications. The 8 I recently bought were of the same good quality for the price as in the past.Several key points:. The blinds are a .5 inch less then the indicated width (ex. 24" wide is actually 23.5", 48" wide is 47.5" wide, and so on.) This has worked well for all my applications. If you plan to mount these between the verticals of the window, keep that in mind. Mounting is really easy if you use this method and if you mount to the outer face of the window. Just predrill and use the 2 screws for each bracket.When you lower the blind to cover your window they do initially look a little crooked left to right. But it fixes itself easily if you just pull down on the left or right side, whichever side appears higher. They even out. Then you can just raise and lower them from the center going forward. Mine were pretty consistently about a quarter inch high on the left side initially when lowered. So I lowered them by holding the left side to even them out. They always seem to retain the level once set.These do come with the bottom hold down brackets to hold the ends in place if you want to keep them always lowered and just want to close and open the slats. I don't use them, but they seem like they'll do the trick. I've never had a problem with the wand or mechanism used for opening/closing the slats.These come with a one year warranty and you can get replacement parts by contacting them. Instructions don't really say how to do that but it looks like the chicology.com website has all the information.Overall I'm happy with these and will continue to look for the Chicology brand if I need more. (I have no personal affiliation with the brand whatsoever.)

so i ordered these not expecting much. I ordered 42" as i wanted to cover the entire window and not install them inside the window frame and have that small gap on either side we are all to familiar with. Could not beat the price. i was expecting low quality for the price of 18.00, HOWEVER what i received actually surpassed my expectations. Pretty decent quality to be honest. Individual blades are a bit thinner then the ones you would buy in the box stores but not a deal breaker for me as they are still acceptable thickness. Anyone who has installed blinds knows that aggravating struggles some can be. Installing these blinds took all of 10 minutes.Functionality they work exactly as expected with no issues.They raise and lower smoothly.Opening and closing the blinds, they open even more smoothly.That was actually a shock to me. What i DID NOT LIKE: Opening the box and removing the blinds the entire back of the mounting track is scuffed with black marks. Now this is normal for packaging and can usually be wiped off, Not in this case. It looks as if a couple of employees decided to slide these back and forth across the floor in some warehouse game of my turn. Thankfully the scuffs where on the backside and once installed it could not be viewed. Even at a low price it is expected to receive a product that is not covered in uncleanable black scuffs or what looks like wear and tear on a brand new item. The mounting screws that accompany the installation kit is NOT an anchor kit so make sure you are either screwing into the inside of a window frame or to a wall stud if you are covering the entire window, do not install these above the window as i did and if you are make sure you have anchors Overall: I really am please with these and will be buying quite a few more in the next few weeks. The weight and quality and i have no doubts these will last a few years. Keep in mind mileage may vary, I can see these wearing within a year or two for household that have children. WELL worth the 18.00 price tag.

I broke our kitchen blind a couple weeks ago. Ordered this blind, hoping it would be an easy install and would look good. A+ on both counts. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. We were a little confused about where the wand hangs, but it all sorted itself out quickly. I’m very glad, because I ordered one for the other kitchen window at the same time. That installation should be a breeze now!!

Save time, save money, and create a lovely new look for your windows! These blinds are sturdy and very easy to install; attractive in any room; great value. I am 84 years old, with absolutely no experience in operating hand or electric tools. Thanks to good description and videos, I was able to install three new blinds in my office, and one in my bathroom. I highly recommend this product!

Description says room darkening with a twist of the wand but mine let in a lot of light no matter how I twist the wand. They are better quality than Walmarts but also cost more. It would be better if they were wrapped in plastic or paper in the box. There were so many gray marks on the top and bottom of these when I took them out that I almost thought they were used. Overall, a decent shade for the money.

My blinds arrived on time, but were damaged. There was a hold in one slat and they hung crooked with one side an inch lower than the other. I contacted the seller and received an email that day, promising I would hear soon. The next day I got an email from a representative who was as disappointed as I was, and promised a new set asap. He said I didn't have to return the bad ones. The new blinds came about a week and a half later, in perfect condition. They are hanging straight with no damaged slats. They look great, were easy to install and simple to raise, lower and angle. I'm very happy and recommend this company and their products.

I ordered a set of these blinds over a year ago. They have held up very well, and still look as good as they did when I first received them. They were easy to install and look great! In the event I would need to buy more these would be the ones I would order.

Product installs easy and works great, but they are not wrapped in plastic within the box they come in so there is some minor scuffing on the surface.

I bought 2 for my mom and had them delivered , she installed them 5 min later and absolutely loves them. No annoying cords to pull them up and let them down , you just push from the middle of the blinds or pull down... super smooth.Great purchase and highly recommend. Will be buying more to replace the rest of the blinds in the house

For my den window. Delivered fast! Easy to install. The slats are a bit thin and very see-through. I got white so maybe that’s why it doesn’t block much light at all. So easy to raise and lower without rope pulleys. Looks good enough for office den in condo. Especially for this price!

These are the perfect blinds for my place. They fit great and are so easy to lift up and down.

darkens room better then I thought..... Recommend..... it is nice and thick as opposed to some vinyl blinds this one here is a lot thicker I like it
