Universal Tubing Adapter for AirCurve 10 Series Machines and ResMed AirSense 10, Compatible with Cleaner and Sanitizer Machines

I am fully satisfied with this SoClean adapter for my new AirSense 10 CPAP. I’ve been using CPAP for over 20 years. Cleaning is a pain, isn’t it? That’s why I got a SoClean2 4 years ago. When I switched from my old Respironics System 100 to a new AirSense 10 I needed a new adapter and this does the job perfectly.A quick note about SoClean: it does not “clean” your CPAP equipment. It does sanitize (kills the germs) in the air circuit including the humidifier very effectively. I still clean my mask about twice a week and hose/humidifier every 2 weeks to get rid of any buildup, especially on the mask/cushion.My previous machine’s adapter was inserted in the hose path. This is a much better design and does not require a special adapter if I have a heated hose attached. It replaces the top half of the humidifier tank. NOTE: Before installing a SoClean2 wash this adapter (and any new CPAP hoses, masks, and humidifiers) thoroughly and rinse *thoroughly* to minimize left-over soap residue which may increase odors following SoClean use. There is usually a bit of ozone smell when I first use my CPAP after a SoClean session. Running the AIrSense 10 for a couple of minutes to blow that out helps a lot to minimize the smell.The tank consists of 3 parts: the top (that’s what this replaces), a gasket to makes the tank air-tight, and the bottom which has the metal plate for the heater. When installing the hinge placement is critical and the seal needs be installed carefully (when your supplier replaced your tank you’ll get a new seal, so no worries). When it’s done right the tank opens and closes smoothly and does not leak. Make sure the hose on the bottom of the tank so the ozone from the SoClean can bubble through the water to kill those microbes too.Another plus for this adapter is how it’s made from hard plastic and is easy to thoroughly wash. I expect mine to last at least as long as my AirSense 10. Again, you use a dish washing liquid like Dawn (I do) be sure to very thoroughly rinse it.Bottom line for me is this adapter is an excellent way to integrate my SoClean 2 into my AirSense 10 system. SoClean has made my CPAP routine a lot easier to live with. That makes this worthy of 5 stars for me.

I Use it for the Res med air sense 10 cpap machine. Placed the water chamber seal inside it (perfect fit). Filled the water chamber. Closed the water chamber again perfect fit. Ran the So clean 2 machine. Perfect no problems, no leaks. This product is great and at a low price. Will definitely purchase again. Also delivery was fast in 2 days. ***** five stars*****
