Great Pump
Great pump and powerful. Using with my Oase Screenmatic 180000 filter. So far so good

Keeping it clear
This pump used in combination with the skimmer actually works! Anything floating on your pond gets swept up before it sinks and clogs up your filter. Great product

This thing moves some water
Initial reviewI did not want to spend this much money on a pump but I wanted a pump with dual inputs to hook up a skimmer.I am glad I did. It pushes 4000 GPH through two 55 gallon drums filters and supports two waterfalls with no problem. One of the waterfalls is 20 feet away.I initially had it hooked to one waterfall and it was like Niagara Falls on steroids.

Lasted 6 months then crapped out
Lasted 6 months until as the other reviewer said, it started intermittently cutting out. I was initially able to get it to keep running by unplugging & plugging it back in. Now the impeller spins then stops a few times until it just doesn’t run at all. Spoke to OASE who troubleshot it, then told me they would send out a new impeller. 2 minutes after being on hold, he came back and told me oops, the impeller isn’t covered under warranty. (Roughly $90) I told him I’ve replaced impellers on similar pumps before and I think this is more an electrical or motor problem. Currently in the process of sending the pump back to OASE to diagnose.***Update***Oase contacted me and stated that there is nothing wrong with my pump and that it worked fine for them. Technician stated that it continues to restart 9 times as a safety feature if it isn’t in enough water and that must be why. I explained that my pond is FIVE FEET DEEP and it was at the bottom every time it failed. They now want me to pay $26 to have it shipped back to me. I explained that it better work properly when I get it back or I will ship it back to them again and have to file a complaint.

Quit after 2 seasons
This pump died after 2 seasons. We live in the Northeast so it's only used 6 months out of the year. Thankfully OASE replaced it under warranty, but still should not have failed so quickly. OASE pumps are not what they used to be.
