Since anything interacting with body chemistry takes time to stabilize, I will update this review should I encounter problems with the product down the road. Also, please keep in mind that the results of any deodorant will vary according to body chemistry. No two people react the same way...but the more people agree a product works for them, the more likely it is to work for the average person.As of right now, a week or two into using this deodorant, I am extremely pleased. I have sensitivities that prevent me from using synthetic deodorants or antiperspirants, so I have to go the natural route. Unfortunately, I have found natural deodorants to be less effective in odor control. What's worse, I'm sensitive to baking soda and get a horrible rash/burn from deodorants that use it. The most reliable deodorant I could find that I was able to also tolerate was Tom's unscented. It worked tolerably well for me, although it tended to allow a musty smell to build up under my arms -- much less offensive than rank body odor, but still not great. Some days, it would fail outright and I would have to wash my skin and reapply.SO far, I have been pleasantly surprised at the results of this deodorant. I've noticed no musty smell as the day wears on and I stay surprisingly fresh all day. Have not had any b.o. problems or had to reapply on the same day. I even tried a day-two reapplication without washing my skin off one morning and it held up very well. I have not noticed my tops getting musty-smelling under the arms as quickly either -- including one I wore two days in a row without a shower. It still smelled fresh! I have even worn this deodorant for jiu jitsu a couple of times and did not notice any failure. I mean, by the time you finish rolling, everyone has each other's sweaty odors all over them, and you aren't going to leave the gym fresh with any amount of deodorant -- so there's no scientific way to tell. But I felt the deodorant help up the way I needed it to. No embarrassing b.o. fails.Please note: this does NOTHING to suppress sweat -- it is not an antiperspirant. For me, that's not a problem, since I don't tolerate antiperspirants anyway -- and even when I used to use them, I found they didn't really make me sweat less. In fact, sometimes I would sweat more. That said, with this deodorant I have never seemed to "sweat it off". I wonder if the magnesium may actually absorb into the skin, keeping it from being able to sweat off (but that's just a guess...I don't know the science!)Also note: this is a roll-on. It is liquid. It rolls on wet. This is not a product flaw but simply the nature of roll-on deodorants. You do have to make sure your skin is reasonably clean and dry before applying. As a general rule, I always gently shake it, apply to freshly washed and dried armpits, and allow it to dry before getting dressed. That's my preference, and it seems to work well that way. Also note that it initially has a sort of mild salty or mineral smell upon application. This dissipates when it dries and in the meantime it's no more offensive than witch hazel or a faint scent of alcohol would be,If you find any trace of "skin smell" offensive, you won't like this, although to be fair that is inescapable if you are using a truly unscented, non-antiperspirant deodorant. This is not the same as a musty, stinky, or unfresh smell, and is not b.o. It is not something you will detect unless you stick your nose straight in your armpit and inhale deeply, looking for it. I find that, in actual fact, I am odorless using this deodorant. But just a fair warning if that's a problem to you.A note on magnesium: some people's skin is sensitive to it, so watch for any reactions. I have had zero reactions so far. This is extremely non-irritating in my experience. I don't feel the need for the "gentler" women's version (which I also read was less effective). Second: magnesium can sometimes act to help draw toxins out of the body, which in turn can smell. I have not experienced this, but some may. The irony is that this effect is an unpleasant result of the magnesium's effectiveness...so if you know you have a buildup of toxins, you may want to try the sauna and lots of lemon water for awhile before testing this deodorant.Verdict: best natural deodorant I've ever tried, good enough to compete in odor-control with mainstream deodorant in my opinion.

I work as a nursing assistant in an ICU unit doing 12 hour shifts 3 times a week. My job involves a lot of heavy lifting, running up and down hallways, and sometimes I get involved in doing compressions. I live a pretty active lifestyle at work and at home too. I like to clean around my house, go to the gym, or just go out and do errands. I live in a pretty hot city in southern Arizona. The heat reaches up to the triple digits and winters last a week here. At the end of the day, it comes down to a very necessary shower. I usually have the onion-and-garlic-old-sweat-sock-lost-on-a-old-unused-locker kind of smell, even after heavily applying layers of the typical over-the-counter deodorant in the mornings (Old spice, Axe, Degree, Dove). I've tried all of those and they haven't worked as well as I would like, but I've just been putting up with it. I look back at how sad my white shirts are with the stained yellow markings in the arm pit. Even when I wear a shirt for 5 seconds, just to try it on, I can smell the left over deodorant on it and the shirt loses the clean linen smell. Trying to scrub off the deodorant in the shower is such a pain too.After a long time of dealing with my stench, the markings, the extra scrubbings, I thought, ''this is enough. I had it. no more." I was so sick my smell, the deodorants, and not being able to control how stinky I was. So I went on Amazon, searched for deodorant, saw some reviews for nasanta, bought it, and used it. Now guess what? No stained white shirts! No heavy-duty-scrubbing old deodorant off in the shower! AND no end-of-the-day-garbage-in-the-back-alley smell!!! I can try on all my clothes without my armpits tracing! I am so in love with this piece of work. It has given me so much confidence! I can talk to people more comfortably at any time of the day. I can work a 12 hour shift, go to the gym right after, then come home and take a deep breath into my pit, AND SMELL LIKE NOTHING!!! It's such a shame how hard it is to find deodorant like this in stores. That's part of why I love Amazon so much and why I am so thankful to have found this miraculous wonder ball/stick that keeps me from smelling!! I'm so so SOOO happy I can FINALLY control my stench without any worries. Nasanta, you have yourself another regular satisfied customer.
