Concerning of the use
the newly mat ,firstly, wipe the mat with 30℃ diluted cleaner water,then wipe it patiently a few times with warm water,and drying up. finally, it can be used after the air drying.
note: it should air-dried, instead of exposure under the blazing sun for quite a long time,preventing the bamboo filament from breaking easily.it can be used long time if proper maintenance.

Concerning of abnormal odor
Because mah-jong mat is a kind of bamboo products, in case of insect prevention and mould breed, in the process of disinfection processing and desugarization processing, it is inevitably give out uncomfortable smell. please feel free to use, it doesn't have any negative influence in human body health.
The abnormal odor usually naturally faded away after the use of one week.
some suggestions to removal abnormal odor:
a. dry after saline soak;
b.dry after soak with the tea water
c.wipe the bamboo mat with the diluted disinfectant
