This is THE BEST quality, heavy and durable Bat on Amazon and maybe even on this planet and YOU HAVE TO OWN ONE FOR HOME DEFENSE!!! Especially if you have kids. God forbid, but you never know when you may need this.

Great, indestructible bat!
Love these! Have a few of them. Cold Steel is a great brand! Of course, they would make an indestructible bat. This baby can hit a home run for sure

Self defence bat.
Short and rather heavy bat. I taped the handle for a better grip.

Handy size but a little heavy
Fits perfectly in the umbrella holder of a Chrysler Pacifica! It's solid but doesn't move as fluidly as I'd like. Still a handy tool to have in an emergency.

IT'S MY FAVORITE BUT STILL NOT AS GOOD AS BROOKLYN SHORTY
You can't beat a gun or rifle, but this is my favorite non-firearm tool I have for self defense. It just feels "right" in my hand. It's heavy enough that whatever you swing at will be obliterated. It's definitely fun just to hold, swing at the air with, destroy water melons and a fun talking piece to discuss with your friends that may share your enthusiasm for such things. But that is where it ends because Its heaviness is also con. Cold Steal also makes a slimmer, lighter version of this bat called the Brooklyn Shorty and though not as "fun," or impressive to look at, is much better for actual self defense needs. I'm a relatively strong man, but I still feel the need to choke up just a tad on the grip for both the Brooklyn Slammer and Brooklyn Shorty (they both are one-handed bats), so the added weight of the Brooklyn Slammer adds extra response time, slows down the time it takes to actually swing and truthfully, any semi-athletic assailant would probably see your swing coming before you could actual execute the swing with the Slammer. In conclusion, The slower Brooklyn Slammer is my favorite because of the fun factor, but the Brooklyn Shorty is actually better for practical self defense uses because its quicker in the air and still will break bones.

It's heavier than it looks. Will definitely do damage, even with a glancing blow.

Not very long about 19 inches and some weight to it. Use it mostly for my walks in the evening/night. Excellent 👍🏿👍🏿
