My situation is that I live in a condo with limited space. After storing are wine and liquor in our coat closet, I decided we needed something more functional. This unit was just what wee needed. It is a solid piece of furniture. On the plus side, the instructions are well written, well illustrated, and easy to follow. Individual components were all labeled and easy to locate when needed. Different sized screws were in their own separate labeled bags. Just about impossible t make a mistake. The company also provides a bag of numerous miscellaneous "extra parts" just in case you lost some parts, or parts were omitted when packed. I didn't need any of them. A nice touch. Assembly, while straight forward, was a little tricky when it came to actually putting pieces together, especially step 3. I needed an extra set of hands. The unit comes with two adjustable shelves for the upper section. Using both shelves limits the height between shelves for standard size liquor bottles., so I am using just one shelf which works out just fine. My only complaint is that the pine boards are easily dented. I was not as careful as I should have been when constructing the unit and ended up with a few dings in the finish.

Happy with completed cabinet but whew ... had to put this together all alone so it took quite some time (finally got out the 36 inch bar clamps and some really sticky tape as a substitute for extra hands) ... really don't like cam locks: difficult to work with and to get together securely so that's why only the four stars ... but I really like that it is solid wood (not that awful MDF), all holes drilled, all parts included, no material flaws. It looks great and it seems really sturdy, do not notice any bad odor. And I did a quick redesign: used dividers on only bottom shelf and left out one of the other two shelves so there is a bigger open storage space above the row of wine. I need more china/glass/etc storage space than wine storage.

I love the look of this item and it's real wood. However, one CAN NOT assemble this without a power drill. The finishing process at the plant actually sanded off the holes so the screws will NOT screw in w/out a pre-drill. Yes, that's right--I needed to pre-drill again at about 2mm/ or 1/8". And it was a REALLY fun time to go and assemble certains pieces only to find out the the pre-drilled holes were off by about 2mm so there was NO WAY it would assemble w/out moving the screws.I am not a hobbyist woodworker but dayum did watching my grandpappy as a child help me with this endeavor (I also purchased another product from this company at the same time so they'd match). Good god, NEVER AGAIN.Also, this items must have been stained with high VOC stain because it absolutely reeks. I'm so glad I wasn't pregnant or have kids because the fumes were heavy and lingered for about two months.Finished, the piece is beautiful and sturdy (as long as I keep the side that I accidentally re-drilled through by the wall, FYI).

For the price I excepted better quality

Because I don't have much space for a microwave on my kitchen counter and need more cabinet storage for my kitchen stuff, I've been looking for a right cabinet for a long time and was about to give up. I found this furniture and read so many positive reviews, so I decided to give it a try. It's very sturdy, easy to assemble, has true color as picture on the website; it provides plenty of space for me to store my stuff in cabinet and top for microwave. Everyone praised on this beautiful furniture. The price is right, too. I wish they could have a line of narrower storage cabinet that I could fit it to another area in my kitchen.

Was very excited about this cabinet. Because it is ‘solid wood’ and it is $300+ with tax, I thought it would be really good. I read trough quite a few reviews and so was willing to purchase this. I was so wrong.Thank God my husband can do some adjustments or we would not have been able to put it together. The holes for the screws were either too large or did not match up, leaving us to drill new holes for screws. The sides were a problem when it came time to put them together with the shelves - dowels don’t line up with the pre-drilled holes. The shelves and sides are not cut square. Cam locks bend with a little pressure. So my husband not only screwed it together but also glued it. The finish was okay but had some blemishes in it.All in all, this cabinet is really only worth about $100, really expensive firewood. Amazon should not put their name anywhere on this, because I can’t believe it is up to their caliber of items sold through them. Don’t waste your money - look elsewhere. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because they send you a package of extra screws.

Solid buy! We bought two of these to go next to the entertainment center we purchased from this company. The color is exactly as shown and it is solid wood. We were able to leave the wine holders and out and adjusted the shelves to were we had a larger space up top. I was worried not adding the wine holders would look obvious, like we forgot to add something or built it wrong, but it doesn't!! It looks wonderful! You are also able to hand the doors were they either swing left or right so you can really customize it to your space! Would definitely recommend!

We really love this gorgeous wooden cabinet. It arrived with no damage and all the parts with clear instructions. It took my husband a few hours to assemble, however, once all put together, it is a beautiful high-quality piece of furniture that we are proud to display in our home.
