Sprookjesbos (Dutch Edition) Paperback – September 13, 2018

Gorgeous book. Lots of small details, the paper is thick. The delivery was incredibly fast, arriving in pristine condition a week ahead of the estimated arrival time.

After awhile, the quest for "different" coloring books becomes a little difficult! This one definitely fits the bill. It is reminiscent of Johanna Basford's work, but I like it better. (Some of her stuff gets just a little too cluttered with little tiny stuff.) This is fantasy-based book, with fairies and dragons and such - and lots of forest scenes, mushrooms, castles, etc. Very delicate, very detailed, very imaginative. A few images are printed on both sides of the page - this happens when there is an image that covers a two-page spread, in which case at least one page will end up with an image on each side. But fortunately, MOST of the images are printed on only one side of the page. I haven't tested the paper yet but it seems to be thick, so one can only hope for no bleed-through.

This is a beautiful book with intricate pictures. This is a book I will have to grow into. Glad I purchased but my skill level isn’t there yet.

This beautiful dutch edition of Tomislav Tomic's Sprookjesbos adult coloring book is a treasure for me, coming from France. Though used, it is in excellent condition, which I really appreciate. Tomislav Tomic's fanciful world includes fairies, castles, and dragons throughout forests where animals live. I love his style of drawings and it is published on smooth, off-white, thick paper and are mostly one-sided drawings. I have ordered his other similar book from Amazon as well and I am thankful for the opportunity to own such lovely coloring books.

This book contains some of the best images to color in the whole adult coloring book hobby.I mentally did cartwheels when I saw this color book. It's a Dutch reprint of an out of print Croatian(?) artist. These books were the holy grail of adult coloring books and you were extremely lucky to find a copy (if you were willing to pay a substantial amount of money as well). A Dutch printer bought the rights to reprint. Don't expect inferior paper, it's creamy. Don't expect unclear or inferior images, they're dreamy (sorry...couldn't resist the rhyme :). There is also a companion book which I acquired at the same time.

The artwork is amazing ! The paper used is good quality and most of the pictures are single sided although there are some pages with art on both sides. The pictures are very detailed and will be challenging to color for someone like me who is not an artist but it will be worth it. The pictures are so beautiful that even is you aren't an expert, they will look good.

Ich hatte schon seit einiger Zeit hin und her überlegt, ob ich mir die Bücher von Tomislav Tomic kaufen sollte, bin aber immer wieder davon abgekommen. Ich hatte einfach zu wenige Bilder aus dem Inhalt gesehen, um den relativ hohen Preis auf gut Glück zu bezahlen. (Und ganz ehrlich, die Coverbilder finde ich immer noch etwas unglücklich gewählt....)Nachdem ich jetzt aber endlich mehr von beiden Büchern gesehen habe, habe ich mir beide Bücher bestellt und bin hellauf begeistert. Die Zeichnungen sind wirklich niedlich, teils sehr witzig und einzigartig, auf jeden Fall einfach unverwechselbar! Und die Drachen, die liebe ich wirklich. =:))Das Papier ist wunderbar dick, aber was mich wirklich begeistert, ist die Fadenbindung. Hier kann man endlich ohne Probleme (und ohne den Buchrücken brechen zu müssen) doppelseitige Bilder bis in den Bund hinein ausmalen ohne sich die Finger zu brechen.Wunderbar, ich hätte wirklich gerne mehr so liebevoll und durchdacht verarbeitete Bücher zum ausmalen. Dafür zahle ich auch gerne ein paar Euro mehr!

This is the second time I have bought this colouring book! Has to be my all time favourite.
