Hands down the best brand for authentic looking, quality plastic, durable and fun, and most realistic looking fake food. It’s worth the extra money and I’d return everything else and only buy this - that’s how big a difference it is. I bought for my 3yo toy kitchen. Thus would also be the food I’d buy if I were a dietitian (or something similar) and needed to show food to people. It’s a great quality!

The best quality play food!! The size and style is perfect. The plastic is durable enough for classroom play, and easily washed! This won’t crack or crush like other cheaper play food. It lasts for years! This set is a great value to get you started.

I was in the market for play food for my daughter’s kitchen set. I didn’t want the cheap plastic kind just because that’s just me and I’ve had my eye on the learning resources food for an awhile. I finally chose to purchase this variety pack used and I absolutely love it. The quality of this play food is so good. A rubbery yet plastic material so realistic which is more of why I wanted this particular brand. The other sets are on her Christmas list and can’t wait to get them.

There is such a wide variety of foods and they are so solid and seem like they would last a long time. I wanted a wide variety of food from one company so it all matched and this was the best choice. I will say, I wish the hot dog was a bun and a hot dog and not one thing as well as the cereal, mac'n'cheese, and pink drink, but for the most part everything is great!

I have to say that in my 20 years of working in childcare, these are the absolute best pretend food products!!!! They are a thick rubbery material that does not split when toddlers bite down like most other toy foods, which becomes a hazard because they can get fingers stuck or cut themselves. They can not chew them into little shivs, lol! Also, some other brands that are durable, are made of a harder, heavier rubber material that can probably knock a kid out because they are so heavy! That is not the case with these, somehow they are durable while being lightweight!! I have also tried wooden food and the paint gets chewed off quickly, which is worrisome!! These are worth the price!! Bright and appealing colors!! This is my second time buying them, only because food was lost not destroyed. I will only buy these from now on!! I highly recommend them!!!!!!

7.5 YEARS LATER UPDATE: still have these. Still in great condition 2 kiddos later! Awesome quality. 100% recommend. -------- Looooove this set! Much better quality than the cheap thin plastic food sets I've seen. It's almost like a rubbery material. The colors and details are great! The variation of food included in this set is perfect. The bowls of Mac & cheese and cereal are my fave because they're just cute. Yes, the food is small and some of the items are not proportionate to others, but honestly... it's kids toys, many things are made smaller than normal so I don't have an issue with that at all. It's perfect size for my 18 month old (there are some smaller pieces, but I don't think any of them are small enough to be a choking hazard.) And I actually prefer this smaller food because it doesn't take up as much space. My daughter really enjoys playing with these and I see them lasting for quite some time.

This play food set is great! The texture (a soft, rubbery plastic for most of the pieces) just feels nice and it's more realistic looking. I also like the assortment of pieces - lots of fresh produce and you can make a variety of meals including breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Sure, it's a little on the expensive side but it's basically a one and done purchase - I no longer feel like I need to keep buying smaller play food sets, which would have easily cost more in the end. Also, this set will last for many years due to the quality materials. I'm very pleased with this purchase!

My kids first played with this food at a local play Café and loved it. I appreciated the great quality and feel of it. Found the brand and ordered for the kid's play kitchen at home. Seriously really well made play food that will last forever- well worth the money!

Nice set of play food. Realistic, soft and good selection. Grand daughter loves playing with it and the bowl of cereal or noodles is unique.

Proper heavy-duty, rubberised, old fashioned good quality play food. Not like the cheap toy food being sold but Kmrt etc.

Like many reviewers before me, was a little hesitant about the high cost for what's essentially play food. But like those same reviewers, I agree this is worth the extra money. The texture is more rubbery than standard plastic, so doesn't dent under pressure (they seem indestructible even), and flat items (i.e. sandwich fillings) stay together without sliding off. Particularly good for toddlers who aren't quite dexterous yet.

Vale la pena el precio por la calidad, detalles y resistencia. Se ven súper bonitos y mejor que otras marcas donde el plástico es más duro. Este es un plástico de textura suave pero resistente. Recomiendo ahorrar para comprar este set de $854 en lugar de ir comprando por cestas por ejemplo, porque viene siendo lo de 3 paquetes que saldrían alrededor de $1200-$1350. Algunas dimensiones si son más chicas, como el hot dog pero igual cumple su funcion.

This is a great set, as a starter or on its own. High quality and worth every dollar. A decent variety of foods that are realistic enough, yet still playful and childlike. Perfect size for toddlers and young children. Durable! The cost may seem a bit high upfront, however these items are designed to last. They've so far stood up to my lil guys and they are rough on their things... A more inexpensive set would've been destroyed and replaced by now, more than once I'm afraid. They play with these every day and it's all still in brand new condition. I plan to buy more in the future to add to what we already have and I would recommend this to anyone that was looking for the best food playset.
