This works better than expected. It removes stains probably better than 409 does. It adds a shine that lasts.

I have a very old acrylic shower that is difficult to clean if I let it go for too long. The soap scum builds up rapidly. I've used dishwashing detergent and a microfiber cloth and that works reasonably well, but it has been increasingly difficult to clean lately, so I thought I'd give this a try. First of all, it has a very strong smell. I would not use this without some ventilation (shower door open and bathroom fan running). The smell does dissipate after rinsing. Does it clean acrylic well? Yes! The top part of the shower was really easy to clean, but the bottom part where most of the soap scum accumulates, took quite a while to get clean. I had to scrub (with the microfiber cloth) quite a while and with quite a bit of effort (no simple spray and wipe). Was it worth it? Yes! My shower now looks practically brand new. It's important not to use cleaners that could damage the acrylic surface (and there are many out there that I would not trust to use on my shower) hence I thought to give this Kohler cleaner a try as they manufacture bathroom tubs and showers. It is a powerful cleaner, so I most likely will return to using the gentler option of the dishwashing detergent a few times in between these more vigorous cleanings; but yes, I do recommend this product for acrylic surfaces.

30+ year old one piece acrylic (I think) tub in basement. Originally almond colored but thru years dingy greige. Tried on tub and so much brighter. Probably could use another hit of cleaning. No damage, soap scum seemed to be removed and overall I’m glad I bought

Cleans but you need a gas mask on the smell is so strong.

I like using the product. I don't like the smell. Lets me know I am using a harmful product. I only use it in the day. It doesn't smell bad but I prefer to use it when I can open a window. Works well. I use it on my porcelain bath tube.

Best product to buy for your shower. It works so well it only works on kolhler products no tile

I was told when I purchase my Sterling/Vikrell tub and surround (which I would not recommend) that I should only use the Kohler Cleaning Agent. Anything else would ruin the finish, so I purchased. I kept using it in hopes that over time it would remove stains on the bottom of the tub. It would look like it was getting lighter, so I kept using it, but finally gave up and was going to pay $550 to have the bathtub refinished. But, prior to that I decided to do research to see if something else would work. YouTube is my friend and I would do research now and again, but nothing that was specific for my case and options sounded too drastic. Finally I found one recently where the woman was using Bar Keepers Friend. There are several different ones for different uses. She recommended the "cleanser", which is a powder and wouldn't scratch the surface. I use it on my stainless steel kitchen sink and really like it, so had it on hand. What did I have to lose? It was amazing. It removed the stains that I had been fighting for almost 10 years. Almost 2 months later and it still looks amazing.Prior to this test I had recently purchased two more bottles Kohler Cleaning Agent (special ,was cheaper if you bought two). I was able to return the two bottles to Amazon. I would give Amazon's return process a two thumbs up. It is so easy. You enter the information on line, box it up, print out the paper work, and take it to UPS and if there's not a long line your out in minutes.My only recommendation to Amazon is to not call it a "Gift Card" when you decide to use the credit on your next purchase. I couldn't figure out who had given me a gift card and my son who orders from Amazon all the time had wondered the same thing. Call it what it it is!! RETURN CREDIT
