Would give it minus 10 if I could. It sprays filling all over the place but doesn't keep it in the tank. Therefore I can't use it at all. I think I got it lit only once for a moment. Unfortunately I discovered the dysfunction to late for sending it back. Now I own a slick, beautiful dysfunctional torch. Today I am up to at least 8 yellow stars! The seller got back to me to let me know there is a warranty on the lighter. After providing a pic they replaced the lighter immediately. .... and guess what, now I have a beautiful, slick and completely functional lighter! Thank you for your kind support!

Love this lighter. As long as I can buy another if mine stops working, I will buy another. I first bought about eight of these for the guys in my wedding party along with Butane Fuel . The guys had nothing but positive reviews initially and since haven't had a single problem. The flame on this thing is almost hot/large enough to weld. Not really, but it is plenty to burn any cigar and might burn a cigarette in half if you leave it on too long. I think I have mine at about 50% and it is plenty. Once full, the butane lasts quite a while also, you don't have to worry about filling up very often if you only use it for cigars (not real often for me). The punch is nice and easy to use, but tough to clean out without a small knife or something similar to help. I'm not a huge fan, sometimes would prefer a cutter, but that is just me. I bought a second set for my fifth wheel (lighter, fuel and Humidor ) since I work out of town and didn't want to be without cigars at home or on the road.

I've been using this Scorch Torch as my daily lighter for more than a year now and it hasn't missed a beat. The only negative I can think of is, after a few months, the manufacturer's patina wore off, in areas where my fingers make contact. On the plus side, it's a solid and stylish lighter that has an excellent hand-feel. Not that it matters, but everyone who uses it, remarks on how nice it is. The flame is strong and can be used in a convertible or with a fan blowing directly on you. I've never been in wind that is too strong for this lighter to function. For $13, it's a deal.

Excellent lighter for the cigar smoker! I smoke 2-4 stogeys a day and have had the best experience with this lighter. I haven't counted but I bet I flick it close to a hundred times a day. I have tried the entire range of torch lighters from the cheaper end ones to more expensive types and they all stop working after a while. This model seems to go the farthest without hassle or replacement. I use Bronson gas (cheap) so some other lighters I have tried don't work at all! This lighter needs a bit of adjusting before first use but the Scorch Triple seems to be the most reliable (fast ignition) give me the most uses over its lifespan. The attached punch is a great feature although the sharpened blade did come loose once.

update- did not work at first but after fiddling with the flame adjust and purging, it now works. seems like a solid well made lighter but it only worked for one day (worked really good for that one day). I can see the spark when I depress the switch but no flame. I thought that it could be the internal butane tank has a leak or internals are clogged update: after following U Tube guidance to purge all gas, cycle the flame adjust screw, then reload with good quality gas, Surprise! the lighter works fine.

Grossly over rated. It looks nice, feels nice- but with normal use, don't expect it to last more then a few months. I purchased my first one May 4th. By October- it was dead. The lid wouldn't close, and it just wouldn't light. I was sent a replacement lighter in October. Christmas eve, I had to fill the lighter while guests were here. I placed it in my pocket, stopped at the ladies room. The lighter only fell about 1 foot, but I suspect the way it landed popped it into 4 pieces. Well, I got to see why I had to fill often, the butane reservoir is less then 1/2 the size of the actual lighter- and unfortunately, it was cracked. I couldn't fill if I wanted to. So, Christmas eve we found our selves in a predicament- no fire. No log in the fire place could be lit, candles couldn't be lit- but Thank God WaWa is open on Christmas eve, as we were forced to purchase disposable lighters, meanwhile my neighbor found camping matches. While there WAS a hassle free replacement, apparently I do not qualify now. But this much I discovered- this lighter looks much better then it will ever work. Don't waste your money, after 2 of them- within a 7 month period of time... AND a year WARRANTY, I have nothing. Don't be sold by the "gun metal" finish, All this lighter had to do is land on the bottom opening and it pops right open, springs fly- to its demise. Do be sure to look at it in a few pieces.

Awesome and Cool...that's right, I said cool. HA!! This torch is fantastic. It's beautiful, feels thick and heavy in the hand and smooth as glass. It works great, owned it for two months and no problems or issues at all. The three flames are perfect and the fold out punch cutter is top notch. I would certainly recommend this to anyone. I will probably buy another one to keep one at home and the other for road trips and travel. I keep mine in the nice soft pouch it comes in so it won't get scratched up...the pouch can also hold a guillotine and V-cut cutter as well. Bonus!

Nice quality item. Loaded butane very well. Nice nickel gunmetal like finish. Holds iwell n your hand very ergonomic. Works as well as other more expensive lighters that I've owned in the past. The integrated cigar punch is very handy. The punch easily swings out when needed and is very sharp, then folds away when you're done with it. Nicely priced. Recommended.
