Aerb Camping Light: Camping Lantern, Emergency Light, Bug Zapper with 5 Modes Brightness for Hiking, Camping, Emergencies

The first thing I noticed upon receipt, was that the cover of the USB port didn't close. I have no idea if this would affect the lantern being waterproof, but it didn't bode well.Then, upon charging for a good few hours, the product didn't work at all. The lantern would only light up if the wire were still plugged into a source of electricity.I did read on a review, that the plug is not included. I think this should be made clear and I cannot see a reason why it wouldn't be. The wire that is included is ridiculously short.That said, I was looking forward to receiving the lantern to see if it lived up to my expectations.....Alas, it is already waiting for me to take it to the Post Office.....UPDATE:Well, I can only say that I haven’t had such good customer service as that received from AERB for YEARS. It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with their representative.The faulty lantern was replaced, so I have had a chance to use it and update my review.As a flashlight it is fantastic, the various settings make it much more versatile. As regards to the bug zapper, it does indeed work, but don’t have too high expectations. I think, in the dark, in (say) a tent, it will keep any stray bugs at bay. So, if that’s what you want from it you will be pleased. A great flashlight/hanging light and something to zap the annoying mosquitoes that buzz around our ears when we’re trying to sleep.Again, a huge thank you to the gentleman who dealt with my purchase, an asset to AERB for sure!

We camp every weekends in the woods , and campsite , this little thing comes really handy for midnight toilet run and cooking in the dark outdoors, haven't tried the mosquitoes repelling function yet, will update soon !love the USB charging portal. Great for campers !!!

The torch has about 5-6 different modes/settings, most of which you will use camping or just around the house and it gives out a decent amount of light. The mosquito thing however isnt quite so great, like i say in the title mine is yet to catch one

It did look good and I was impressed until the battery ran out and I realised the charger port was broken, retuned no problem.

Great idea for not only home use but also for camping trips. Initially worked fine although only ever killed two bugs. One mozzy and another tiny fly. The torch worked great but the purple LED’s grr dim until eventually failing all together. Item returned for a refund.

The lamp and zapper work fine. However, on charging for the third time, the charger port fell inside the unit.Definitely not impressed.Can't be bothered with the hassle of returns, would advise looking elsewhere.Gary Rothwell.
