Love His Stuff, Get All His Books
I love anything by Dan Piraro and this little gem is some good work. He has a knack for creating humor and illustrating it in his signature style that is so approachable. If you are a fan of Bizarro or Dan Pirarro, get this book.

Bizarro Heros
Another great book from Dan Piraro. Some of these cartoons will be familiar from the funny pages, but there were quite a few that I don't remember ever seeing before. Bizarro is the best drawn newspaper single panel cartoon, by far, and after all these years is still often the funniest.

Holy comic strip, Batman!
A light-hearted take on super heroes for geeks and non-geeks alike. My husband and I really enjoyed it!

Hilarious!
I've missed Bizarro! We don't carry it in my newspaper; this collection was exactly as advertised. A very funny, sideways look at the life of our superheroes.

Holy Cow Batman -This Cartoonist is A Genius.
If you are familiar with Dan Piraro’s cartoons and haven’t come across this book then you are in for a rare treat.A top cartoonist at the top of his game focusing on the Super Heroes. If you include Heroine in that- for my favourite out of the whole lot has to be Wonder Woman in her familiar outfit but in place of the stripes she has Canada’s Maple leaf motive. The caption runs along the lines of‘This is Great but have you got one with The Stars and Stripes Theme?’All of the cartoons are of the highest quality and the humour is Tip Top – Capt Cold has put a cold spell over the city a gigantic Blanket Man covers the skyscrapers. My other favourite is his take on Catwoman. It’s a Marvel (as well as a D.C.) where he gets his ideas from.If you can beg, borrow or steal to get a copy then do so.(I would draw the line at selling your children)On just a mere 144 pages he manages to cram over 600 brilliant cartoons.I say brilliant because in each and every one there is a wonderful ‘punch line’ type pay off of excellent humour.Dan Piraro is a strange man he has (at the last count) had 16 previous lives BUT the sad fact is all of them according to man himself was as planks of wood in each.I’ve said this before but it is worth repeating/Now I suspect that these planks of wood were sentient and the planks were located in famous places though out history. For example the cabin on Drake’s Golden Hind, the bed head on the British Royal Families bed headboard, the floor of the Oval office in the Whitehouse and the members only toilet cubicle in the United Nations- you are beginning to get my drift?Good.Dan Piraro’s cartoons are devilishly different. No doubt others will wheel out the old ‘The Far Side and Steven Wright’ comparisons to described the humour and the brilliance. If you add the Great Charles Addams, Willie Ruston and a pinch of Monty Python spliced with Spike Milligan then you are almost there. His cartoons are art and art with a heart and are really excellent.A fellow reviewer, Guybert, on Amazon USA commented that ‘there are things in his books that will make you think "why didn't I think of that?" He is spot on the money. And he is also right about the ones that make you scratch your head- but when the penny drops you just get it.Wonderful.
